I am a bit of a cynic when it comes to this sort of thing. Unfortunately Google is now a major corporation, by not self censoring itself in China it would have more than likely have either been very heavily censored or banned entirely from use in China. This would have been a very bad business decision so hence it makes the best of a bad situation, it is however quite amusing that they refuse to handover logs to the American government at the same time though.

It could be anyone of a hundred things but start with the simple stuff first. Reset the CMOS as it may be just a bad setting. Check the CPU temperature in the BIOS, if its over 60C it could well be the problem. Remove and re-seat all components. Remove individual components one at a time and keep re-booting until you find a culprit. Remove the mobo from the case to see if there is a short. Also does the system beep more than one short beep upon boot up? if so how many? Using beep codes is a good way to solve problems.

I agree with the rolling off the desk however the hexagonal pattern is also more efficient in terms of production (It tessellates).

One of the principle reasons of overclocking is to improve the graphics when playing a game, a console based system (ie PSP, Xbox etc) would gain little or no benefit from overclocking as the software would not take advantage of the extra overclock unlike a PC game can and does. Hacking a PSP is a different matter there is already homebrew software out there and it is only a matter of time before someone comes up with a way to bypass the UMD disc system and load games direct from a memory card. Also the memory card port has been 'hacked' already to allow the use of different types of memory stick such a flash drives etc
