I'm running a search on BLAST (NCBI) using a protein sequence from Streptococcus sp. Most of the hits I get are from the same genus and even species (more than 50 out of 100 total). Is there a way to obtain hits that represent a wider range of organisms. In other words, it is possible to filter BLAST results in order to show up only one sequence per species?
