Who is "we"? I haven't seen that attitude expressed in this thread. What I have seen expressed is the attitude that ALL citizens should be afforded equal opportunities that are not 'less equal' due to race, sex, gender, country of origin, etc. It is your wording in these threads that often put you at odds with some of us. I doubt you meant that being trans is a 'life choice', but when you say things like that it make it seem as if you've relegated transgender people to some 'reduced' or less important category. To a cis woman.

So can I extrapolate from your position that you are in favor of pursuing solutions that allow both trans women and cis women to participate in sports as long as the we can find an equitable way to do so?

Well I don't know precisely of course, but perhaps it could use Demonstration Sports as a model once an acceptable plan is worked out. This has the advantage of not negatively impacting the current crop of athletes while running a realistic trial to see how well it might work in the future.

If the goal is to route water into the pipe and have it flow through the pipe to an outlet, then the perforations would be on top. If you are installing a French Drain, then the perforations are on the bottom. Holes on the bottom and gravel all around both work to ensure soil does not work its way into the pipe which will eventually cause the drain to fail. Water rising above the level of the gravel beneath the pipe will enter the pipe and flow away. If the water doesn't rise above the level of the gravel then it will drain into the soil. Water draining into the soil is just like the water that flows away through the pipe; that is, both are moving away and thus no longer constitute a water problem.

It seems that your position is that there is no room for transgender athletes in sports, and my position is that we should try to find a place for transgender athletes in sports. It seems to me we are discussing which one of our positions is the one to follow. Do you mean to ask if I support pedophiles?
