what do you mean by oxidising agents?

What measures could a person take to reduce the risk of bacteria infection and the development of bacterial disease? What happens after bacteria has gained entry?
-
Yeah, finally! But on TV, he looks quite dazed. And quite dumb. :x

Maybe Spaceship Dummies?

Yup, a crucial point. I agree with dave. No energy no life. Fusion better start working.

Oh so surface tension has a lot to do with the kinetic particle theory. So, now i understand. To confirm, surface tension is a combination of both adhesive and cohesive forces. Cohensive---> for the fact that Hydrogen and oxygen make up the water molecule. Adhesive ---> for the fact that the water molecule sticks to the glass surface. Anyway, does the glass surface have a charge? so that the attraction will occur? This two conbine to be known as surface tension. Right? Oh ya, yesterday i read about surface tension in the alveoli, lungs too. Oops. I'm kinda of confused after reading so much information.

Yeah. you know, JUST in case. :x

i think it uses the same principle about plasma. Yup. i think that's my guess. And so, that is how they got their name, Plasma TV.
-
Should be... i'm not to sure too.

lol. that's a funny one. How about making your own space ship? Out of paper. and combustion destroy it all at once. So, ignite!

Eh, me reading The stuff of Life by Eric P. Widmaier well, i'm not as advanced as you guys. reading real profoud stuff. Catching up.the whold november i was reading about politic. cause i did badly for my social studies exams. Haiz, so got sick of the chaotic world of politics and decide to switch to science. My all along BEST choice. SCIENCE IS THE BEST!

what do you mean? You mean as in there are many types of ultradian rythms? Well, i thought ultradian rhythm is the perios of about 20 minutes whereby your subconcious sorts of "surface". ee. i don't know. i didn't really get your explanation. :x

Maybe the lock should be like more genetically involved. the machine will take like nano amount of your blood that you don't even notice. and examine your genetic identity... etc. It would be idea for big organisation company... that has lots of things o save keep. Yup, much like the Gattaca movie.

Wah. how come fafalone has such a high score. Is there something wrong with my eyes or what???
-
You guys are really knowledgeble! How old are you guys? You people seem to know a lot. I mean, do you read about them or what???
-
Vending. Thanks for the effort. Well, after reading your post, i have quite some of an understanding. I got it best when you gave the minescus example. Yeah. i think i got it. Thanks a lot dude. So, what exactly is the term use to describle an object's (let's say acid) adhensive force or cohensive force? Like how powerful or not powerful it is?

I was wondering what each of you guys wanna see advance in, in the year 2004? or even in the future? So please post your creativity about science advancements in 2004 and beyond. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. For me, 1. i wish advancement in nanotechnology and so, it the future everything will be small and easily manage. No more big bulky stuff. Wee! Nano-TV in contact lens that can be placed before your eye and seen anywhere you go! Locks that can be unlock by the touch of your finger. As th nano-chip "key" simply unlocks the lock. Etc. By that time, woo, the future would be so cool. 2. Well, this would definitely not happened inmy generation. The ability to read one's mind. woo. this was a long time dream. It obviously have it's pro and cons. But, i think, the world would be totally different if that ever happens. nah. it is unlikely. Cheers for the coming year!

GEez. ok thanks. Have you tried this experiment before?
-
But what actually is surface tension. The book did not explain it. :x
-
Oh. you mean those machines that are set to land on venus? but control from humans on earth?
-
Btw, i don't have much common sense.
-
How much of the amount should we put for each solvent? I'm think i'm going to try it out. Instead of butane lighter gas, can we put zippo lighter fluid. cause that's all i've got.

Did you have a look at the contents of the root beer?

VEnus sure is vicious. :x You mean these people die of posioning? or mutations in the body caused by the microwave radiation??? Even all the protection didn't help?

It is the rainy season in Singaopre now. This question crossed my mind as i was sitting on a bus. It was raining outside and i was looking out of the window. I realise that water droplets tends to stick on the glass surface. Instead of falling down and off the glass surface due to gravity, it did not. I find this really surprising. And after that, i read a book "The stuff of life" describing water and its properties and stuff. Two words caught my attention, "surface tension". I was wondering has it anything got to do with that. Need someone to enlighten me. Thanks.
