Seriously, in plants, they look green due to the chlorophyll in choloroplast. So, by injecting it into our cell ( as seen quite possible in Xavier's post) would that cause our cell to turn green? So, tell me is that rubbish?

wouldn't the green pigment in the cholorplast make us look Green?

A contangious science addict. for me, science was really co-incidental. When i was young, i hated science to the core as i ALWAYS failed for my science subject, because i didn't know the need to UNDERSTAND science. I merely memorised. Ever since this special science teacher who came along, that provided the ignition key for my interest and love for science. I guess that was fate afterall.

as a matter of fact. maths is considered a science. we need maths in our lives too. construction of our buildings or roads, or building anything requires maths. in physics, we need maths too. maths and science are inseparable. I like biology too. maths, chemistry... and physics (although i'm not good at it.)

i don't see how language barriers is a major factor in soceities turning cold. Like i have said, a smile would do out fine. But, i get your point. Trust and back-stabbing, paranoia. It is a sad thing that things turns out this way.

Food for thought huh. Science can be complex at times, but when you grasp it, its simplicity really amazes me. Science is integrated in many parts of our lives (basically everything), our pursuits for logic and explanation has been the main driving force, the satisfaction of realising can be overwhelming and addictive. That's my view.

Well, i'm not sure whether this sign is only experienced in Singapore. So, wanna ask your views on that. IN the past, i found that people tend to be more friendly to each other. For example, neighbours living around the same area would greet each other even though both are completely strangers. If it is not greeting, they would smile at each other and ask a question or two to start a friendly conversation? Yet, now, everyone seems to be becoming self-centred and cold towards one another. this greatly dampens the community spirit, and the joy of living together in one community. Food for thought: what has caused us to be like that? What are your views?

how exactly can the sun's UV rays propel the spacecraft forward? is it the photons that would hit the solar cells and cause a foward motion of the spacecraft? i thought the solar cells would absorb the photons??? kind of confused how it works.

well, i have quite a werid idea that the life-forms that we find may not be exactly "alive". they sort of hibernate, and when suitable conditions sets in or after certain time periods, they would start "hatching".
