What's nonsensical about something Einstein theorized long before you were out of knee pants.?http://voices.yahoo.com/paradoxes-einsteins-relativity-556787.html
-
Now that the math is all figured out, the only question I have is: How do we sell these new CFLs to the poor who doesn't have money to purchase them?
-
I understand the inadequacy of my question, but even Einstein liked hypotheticals, such as: looking into a mirror moving at c. Would there be a mirror image, reflection?

Have you ever heard these words in a song, "I know there ain't no heaven and I pray there ain't no hell"? Well I have, and that's me in a nut shell. I'm agnostic by choice, but not stupid enough to not fathom the possibility that there may be something greater out there than the whole enchilada, including religion and science.
-
Just a question adding to this speed thing and may not belong here at all. But if a lazer moving at c is fired forward, will there even be a beam emitted? I can understand not catching up to a beam fired from a lesser speed. But at the same speed as c, what happens?

Have both parties finally jumped into a Bar-B-Q pit that neither can escape? And remember, these two guys are not politicians. http://video.foxnews.com/v/1684723972001/trump-gets-over-maher/?playlist_id=86858&intcmp=obnetwork

No, I was never into Queen, but; just don't try convincing my two middle sons, ages 52 and 55 they weren't well received. Every time they are here, that's just about all they want to hear and play unless it's the Bee Gees or Presley. Worst part is, they are "supposed to be" Hill Billies just as I am, which makes me wonder about their Mom???
-
You probably think I'm B.S.n, but I couldnt relate to the group Queen until going on Google a bit ago. That particular song I had heard many times because of the kids and grand kids, but had never seen or really listened to the words. Makes sense though. If you haven't read it, there is a book that's been around since the early fifties that might be of interest. The Search for Bridey Murphy by: Morey Bernstein. I like this rendition. The words are much easier for me to hear and understand.

Just hope you haven't been here long enough to become totally jaded, one faction or another. If not, what is your take on our problems? It may be a good reality check and the outside ball bustin' explanation we've been needing. Don't be totally nasty though, just lay it out for us. Personally, I'll appreciate your answer; regardless of how you put it.

Unfortunately, if there were only two people left on earth with a difference of opinion, undoubtably there would be conflict of some sort. It's in the nature of the beast. How's that old adage go "The guy who dies with the most toys, wins".

Yes, it's done with smoke and mirrors, but is it only an illusion happening inside another illusion? I also used the link to address another post that I thought still interesting. If that's wrong, then please delete it. http://www.youtube.com/embed/wChk5nY3Kzg

Wish I had replied sooner! But if you are into music at all, this aught to soothe you for a day or two. These guys were among the very best ever, “Bar None” Too Much Heaven: Bee Gees http://www.youtube.com/watch?NR=1&v=nREV8bQJ1MA&feature=endscreen Too Much Heaven:? http://www.youtube.com/watch?NR=1&v=p-CZgDt7oas Blowing in the Wind http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aO7C7Fuayrw Barry’s concert in Florida, 2012

Take a look at this. http://www.yorkblog.com/onlyyork/2012/01/12/things-said-in-1955-i-love-it-when-a-plan-comes-together/ I can remember long before things got out of hand and wound up in the state they are today, but I still haven't a firm grasp on total reality???The next link shows what can be done by sheer talent. Yes, it's an illusion done with smoke and mirrors, but one also done as a demonstration of skills. Politicians don't even come close. http://www.youtube.com/embed/wChk5nY3Kzg

I'll not go there, but I honestly thought the world of young George's Dad.

Regardless of what system we wind up with, there will always be corruption in parts of it. My suggestion is to keep the train on track regardless of who the damned engineer is! Don't let each of them make tracks on their own. There are enough laws on the books today to keep a staff of a 10,000 attorneys busy just trying to interpret them. It seems to be the norm that, well; I'm in office now; so let me put some bills on the floor and to hell with whether they make sense or not, we'll eventually need them. Full time politicians are the ones we should be getting rid of. It's like the crack Pelosi made about the health cae plan; "Well you'll have to wait and read it to see what's in it. That is a crock of shi-! But it's basically how politicians go about making our laws. Other than the president, politicians should be allowed to serve only one 4 year term and most of our problems would be solved regardless of who's in power. The longer a person holds the reins the more likely they are to become corrupt, whether it's politics or religion. What is ultra-wealthy? Does that mean a Bill Gates or a Romney should never be president? Or this new kid on the block that just made billions from "face book"? Wrong!!! As I say, I don't particularry like Romney; but to use his wealth as the wedge between right and wrong is a small crutch to lean on. Do you think for a moment this new kid (what's his name) with the billions he made from face book is going to give it away to a bunch of free loaders? Hell no. It has taken Romney many years and shrewd investments to amass what fortune he has. And I would rather trust him than a fly by nighter that no one knows anything about. My reference being Obama of course. Until he wrote his books, he was as obscure as an outer space alien. Obama is worth millions himself. I just don't know how many and from where? But then, I don't mind him being rich, it's just that he knows nothing of industry and I cant stand that smug and arrogant demeanor of his.
-
I'm just saying that we can't keep this "runaway" train on the tracks another 4 years. Probably 90% of the people I'm acquainted with have said they will not vote for Obama under any condition come November. Me, I simply don't like his arrogance. And that's much better than what some leftist have expressed about cutting Chaneys heart out and throwing it at his dead behind. While I don't particularly like Romney either, he seems to be the lesser of two evils. doG probably summed it up best by advocating we get rid of a "paid" Congress and put honest folks in office that have no agenda other than to actually help the common man.

I'm not quite sure what you're asking about the second one? The firat was a bit deep for me to research so I just made light of your findings. You're just a little too serious for this 80 year old brain to get a grasp on. I think you understand where I'm coming from though.
-
doG I totally agree with your statement. Money and power corrupts! Even with the best of intentions, people too long in these positions get to believing they have all the right answeres to our problems. When in reaity, they have just slowly moved away from their moral compass.

Hollywood, (Tinseltown), makes silk purses out of a sows ears overnight, if you have the money. And I had no idea the enigma machine went back that far. You want truth? Go to the nearest street corner at night. It's a lot more sanitary.

Ain't a thin' wrong with a bonfire Moon. It's just that if you strike a match today, even to squib a "toke smoke" in public, you'll have cops on your ass in a heart beat. I just hope you can still remember the marshmeller' and 'tater roasts we had in that part of the country? And a jug of shine to go along with them???? OH Yea!

I enjoyed your video much better than the one Johnny made on the Ed Sullivan Show some years back. Total garbage! And it wasn't Johnnys fault. Take a look. And history? Without it there would be no future.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LsRK3DNoa_Q

There is a remote possibility that you could be right, but I doubt it. Granted, I like many others are not the sharpest nails it the keg; but it doesn't take any of us long to inspect a hot horseshoe, especially if we are holding it in our hand. Sadly, you can see the "heat" in Obama, you don't have to touch it. Is he a Commie? i don't think so. But he would turn our world upside down if we give him 4 more years in office.

Well, he's sure left enough to my way of thinking, and I consider myself a middle of the road moderate, what ever that means?
