  1. Touché! No one can serve two masters or causes equally.
  2. Not crack pottery at all! But you aught to know what someone is feeding you. If I had tried "Pepper Pot or Chittlins" on him back home, he would have no doubt freaked out. Head cheese and tripe may have been even worse. But the chittlins? C'mon!
  3. I really liked the knee jerk reaction! Like you, most on the forum are just too quick for me. But then, I actually did try "Haggis" at a good friends bed and breakfast up on the Ness, "COLD"; But as part of your breakfast?, Naa!!!! Being a hill billy, I think he was just F---ing with me. As I remember, his sister wasn't too happy with the results.
  4. You're not suggesting "Haggis" as a course? Just kidding! As far as Tesla is concerned, the remedy and reasoning as to his incompanance has gone far beyond the man, and his greatness.
  5. Massive discoveries in science are attributed to this mans inquisitive nature and profound knowledge, yet today he is tolerated by many who characterize him only as a crackpot. Why? http://www.hbci.com/~wenonah/new/tesla.htm
  6. Off topic nonsense?? Believe me, there is little in this thread I could steal. But it was you who made the insinuation that people who believe in an electrical universe are crack pots, not me. Tesla was one of the best at believing in that concept, and I don't picture him as a crack pot!
  7. The wording couldn't have been better, either ftom a Harvard, Yale or Rhodes Scholor. I believe Kristofferson hit it right on the head with: Freedom's just another word for nothing left to lose, nothing ain't worth nothing, but it's free! When we finally lose the simple concept and resolve of what freedom really is, and means; we will never get it back.
  8. I suppose Tesla was also a crackpot? A great scientist-mathematician and physicist once said:The true sign of intelligence is not knowledge but imagination. Albert Einstein
  9. It will likely be hard getting replies to something so heart wrenching. Most folks are too busy keeping their cell phones, I-Pods and TV remotes in proper working condition to either read or listen. Thanks for that brief Bio. At least you got it off your chest.
  10. This is a nice video of a cruises set in motion 30+ years ago. Some on the forum wasn't even born when it began, but stranger yet is how quickly many of us tend to forget such importance.
  11. Appreciate your input Moon, and I'm not trying to overthrow Einsteins theories in any sense, since I'll never be that smart. Vacuum though, is only a concept we have reached through the basic interpolation of physics. Yet, understanding what a pure vacuum is, just might explain the singularity that supposedly created our universe. While I'm not an advocate of that principal, it is possible. I'm just looking for honest answers, not a metaphor or assumption.
  12. Thanks for correcting my rrror. "Outer space" would have done just fine. Strange that you were the only one to pick up my mistake. While I will never be a physicist, I do understand the difference between vacuum and pressure, but just looking for answers.
  13. You don't say!
  14. I appreciae your expertise and reply, but what I'm looking for are cold hard facts. Has there been any qualified experiments to validate my question, one way or another? If you can supply a link as to where these tests were conducted conclusively, I will believe. Otherwise, it's nothing more than theory.
  15. Thanks guy! I appreciate your input and curiosity. I hadn't seen this video and it is not exactly what I'm looking for either, but it is a start. I believe my question is within reason, it's just that I cant find a plausible answer to it. You find anything, give me a buzz. I'm sure someone on the forum has an ironclad answer.
  16. I've asked the question several times, but finding no solid answers other than innuendo, I keep searching. Even NASA wants $15. for a supposed qualified answer. And that's only a maybe! If I may, I'll ask it one more time of you guys. A spherical cylinder is vacuumed to -30” of mercury and taken into intergalactic space. There the vacuum on the container continues to be increased. At some point will the capsule collapse, (implode)? Honest injun now! No hypotheticals, just hard facts. I'll look at almost any link you offer, if I can find anything substantial. I just can't seem to find it on my own.

    A BRIDGE?

Likely, this is as close to what I meant to say, as anything else I may ever add. Read his bio.
  18. Not at all, and you may even be right in assuming such a venue? I just don't believe that Rubio or his parents ever espoused an idea that someone owed them anything. But, as long as life exists in this universe, there will always be those preaching inequality, while leading the unqualified.
  19. Rubios rant was much more than the innuendo and cartoon you used, trying to defame him. He is a well roundes human being coming from honest, but poor Cuban parentage who immagrated to this country trying to find a niche, and to eventually return home. I merely used that vernacular to show how even seemingly innocent rhetoric can be used to destroy a persons integrity. Viva! "Cuba Libre"
  20. Rather than giving him a dismissive swipe with your brush, tell me; what did he say that was wrong? And the Google thing you mention, I don't recall "trickle down" in his speech. Perhaps I missed it? I don't claim either virtue or integrity, but I do value both. Yes, I did delete using "lazy" after realizing that most people really don't fit the catagory. It's a generalization I've made after hearing so much B.S. about rich people needing to divvy up their wealth to level the playing field for the poor of this nation. Pity, poverty, placation, to whom and where does the buck stop? How will we function if it should happen? Going back generations, not one member of my family has ever been rich, that I know. But I have never felt it was the rich mans fault that I never reached that plateau. Yet, you make a good point, and the sooner it is resolved; the better or (worse) this world will be???
  21. Just saying, with 15 million illegals having sneaked into this country, along with another 40 million legal grazers eating up the countryside; how can a first generation American, born to poor immigrants; raise so much hell? I believe it's called: Integrity and Bootstrapping.
  22. How can the offspring of "Cuban Immigrants", dare to speak like a politician? http://www.youtube.com/watch_popup?v=WiKrCUiP-fg

    A BRIDGE?

No! not aghast at all. But seeing this and at the same time trying to understand the bitterness between nations and cultures, I do wonder at our overall civilized intellect???

    A BRIDGE?

Sort of scary. But! will such a rationale of interaction ever exist in this world, other than incidents like this? http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=69c_1324490734
