Both of them are just people, aren't they?

Differing Presidential Releases George W. Bushs speech after the capture of Saddam: The success of yesterday's mission is a tribute to our men and women now serving in Iraq. The operation was based on the superb work of intelligence analysts who found the dictator's footprints in a vast country. The operation was carried out with skill and precision by a brave fighting force. Our servicemen and women and our coalition allies have faced many dangers in the hunt for members of the fallen regime, and in their effort to bring hope and freedom to the Iraqi people. Their work continues, and so do the risks. Today, on behalf of the nation, I thank the members of our Armed Forces and I congratulate 'em. Barack Obamas speech after the killing of bin Laden: And so shortly after taking office, I directed Leon Panetta, the director of the CIA, to make the killing or capture of bin Laden the top priority of our war against al Qaeda, even as we continued our broader efforts to disrupt, dismantle, and defeat his network. Then, last August, after years of painstaking work by our intelligence community, I was briefed on a possible lead to bin Laden. It was far from certain, and it took many months to run this thread to ground. I met repeatedly with my national security team as we developed more information about the possibility that we had located bin Laden hiding within a compound deep inside of Pakistan. And finally, last week, I determined that we had enough intelligence to take action, and I authorized an operation to get Osama bin Laden and bring him to justice. Today, at my direction the United States launched a targeted operation against that compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan. Isn't it amazing how one President gives credit to those who deserve the credit, and the POS we have now; takes all the credit?

Jackson, no one but you, your wife and family can feel the pain of losing a son. But there are always those out here who just don't seem to get the message. As you, I did my service time; never giving it a thought. Fortunately we are both still here. For some, Memorial Day is just another paid holiday. Thank goodness most folks in this nation still revere it as a day of mourning for our lost military, family members and close friends. If it should deviates from that cource, I really don't want to be around to see it.

No! Our military isn't overly populated with Blacks. College enrollment? I would rather think that many blacks prefer an education as an alternative to war. I suggest you read up a bit more on how our military engages an enemy.

This doesn't just apply to Americans, people!. They "all" come and go like leaves in the snow of a winters blustery storm. Blown from the trees by a terrible breeze, mans unyeilding thirst for power? Try to have good memories of this Memorial Day. The link below may spread some conscience.

Not really. Suppose we are in a galaxy that is presumably going faster than light speed to someone in front of or behind us. If we look adjacent, would the galaxy next door appear to be receeding at such a speed? Then, if we look at the milky way, in front, to the back or side, how would it appear on the scope thirteen billion light years away? Not too deep into science my questions may sound silly and perhaps are, but I've went through several volumes of material now and still haven't found a satisfactory explanation. Just dumb, perhaps?

In using "red shift", (the Hubble Constant), to determine galactic distances when looking at galaxies in tandem; is one increasing in speed or the other lagging? Or is the raisin bread idea the only right answer?

Battle Wise, Heart Driven and weary, brave young men of every nationality and country have fought many wars of what they thought to be liberation and deliverance from abstract tyranny. Were they wrong in their beliefs? As a VFW member, I have met many of those who served in WWII and have discussed with 'some'; their exploits in battle. (mine were mostly confined to Rathskellers, 53/55). These guys just wanted to remember drinking a warm glass of wine in Bordeaux, or discoverig a Wiener Scnitzel in Mannheim, with a cool stein. Some from the Pacific Ops. were a little less open with their thoughts. But most just wanted to forget the hurt, and remember the good stuff. The one thing 90% of these guys didn't want to talk about, or even discuss; was politics. Can you believe that? To a man; the one thing they most feared to discuss was something they had risked their lives to save and protect, "Politics"!. Battle weary, and lucky to be alive, politics was almost taboo to talk about among them. "And still is"!. The link below is only an excerpt from things too dark to fathom. In no country will these memorials ever go away. Especially those dedicated to politics. (http://media.causes.com/1060527?p_id=175378540)

A young gal in N. Carolina wrote the song a few years before Graham had grown from diapers into his teens. Young, dumb, full of cum' and blind as a bat, she sang the song for the beauty she had written. Comes along a cool dude with $$$. Very cunning, so now the song belongs to someone else. But is it plagiarism to extend it to another musical level? If someone sells it from under your ass and you know it's happening,? "Daa". The song:"Hickory Wind". The link below describes what transpired. http://www.folklinks.com/hickory_wind.html

At present, it has been tabulated that there are approx. 1,000,000 words in the English language, alone. I wrote this short poem some years back, taking every bit of credit for it that I could. But am I so dumb as to think those words were never uttered in that context or thought pattern before? You can even read it. I was looking at the painting of an old farmhouse, barn, tractor and a gravel road running through a gate and down to the creek. It was a three or four minute brain twister to write, and I've changed words in it ever since. But never the meaning. Old Paths and Dreams I wish new paths were open today: 'stead of trails we've all left behind. But search as we may and as hard as we try, there's few out there left to find! Do you ever look back on a scene such as this and feel not a pang of sadness? Yet lucky enough to remember the times when your days were filled with gladness? Not sports cars, jet planes, baubles or such, but things that money can't buy. Like walking to school on a cold wintery day, proud; with you head held high. Or shucking your jeans for a romp in the creek, on a lazy; hot summer day After running a tractor all morning long in the meadow "winnowing" hay. Maybe pulling the cover from a third in the bed when the snow was billowed and deep. And wind thru the cracks in that rustic old house, so cold you hardly could sleep. But meals were readied each day of the year, no matter how tight things might seem By Mom who made sure they were always set out, compliant with my childhood dream. Do I remember? Bet that I do. Would I change it, what can I say!! With food on the tabel and love in the house, there just wasn't no better way. Plagiarism? Every word of what I wrote was thought and spoken long before I could ever read.

While there may be many sound reasons to question the BB, the "biggest" point of conjecture are the words: Create, Creation and Creationism. Other than speculative, no one really knows for sure where this universe came from. If you are religious, follow your faith. If you are a scientist, you follow your nose into a theory and get it rubbed into the dirt on many occasion as pay for your troubles. At this point, I give science the edge. But being agnostic, let's not rule religion totally out.

If history serves up any rational understanding of our earth, there's no doubt "all animal and plant life" have lived a, feudal, serf, and fiefdom existance from the get go. We simply change the names from time to time. Without that concept, life in any form would soon die out. "No living thing", can continue to take, and not give somthing in return.
-
Humans will never live in a commingled society where some sort of prejudice doesn't always exist, regardless of freedoms. America has came a long way in trying to deal with this issue, but it's a menza menz. Unlike water, which eventually finds its own eqilibrium/level, plants and animals can't seem to make that distinction. When a pendulum swings in the direction of one ethnicity, vacuum created by its departure, demands a return swing. If we could stop the swing in mid stroke, who knows? But! if we should stop it in mid-swing, who knows?
-
Not to deviate from the subject, but would it then be proper to advertise with falsifiability: that the universe doesn't exist?

No John! No spoof. Actually there are many Americans who feel that we have run the gamut of placating the so called, "opressed". This was just to show that there is a better way of doing things. At times even I would like to feel envious of these have's. But then I would know it was envy, not reasoning. A person looking at that plowed farmland in the video and thinking it just materialized, is dreaming. That took hard work and lots of it. You couldn't get me back on a farm again even with a gun at my head, unless that was the only way for me to survive. I've washed a lot of dishes, swept many floors, did my time in the military, and as a family man. But i've never regretted a minute of it. Yes, some times were better than others, but nothing regrettable. Memorial Day is coming soon and I thought the song was just something to think about.

Not looking for any reply unless you feel it necessary. Just listen and give the words some thought. Supplant USA with your own countrys name, image, zip code; and "Listen again".

Sorry to get back to you so late jackson, but my fingers and mind don't work as they used to. But I like the BB idea over a lot of other theories. "Not saying it is correct in any fashion", other than there was a cause and effect. Got to bet though, something happened to bring this universe into fruition. A lot of people have put years of gustimation into why and how?, but it's guesswork? I applaud the guy who came up with calling it the "Big Bang". To me it sounds better than, Eleven Dimensions of String Theory. "Dont jump my case Pal, that arbitrator may also be right"? Personally, I believe we are in a free flowing universe expanding into an endless continuum. And this, caused by some tremendous unknown force? Now!, don't shoot the messenger because he has no puire facts, quite like the other guesser(s).

I'm not familiar with the expression, "Universal Jet". I've been on the forum less than a year and still learning. Tried google and really couldn't find anything worth while. But I'm listening!
-
Loved your explanation.! But what I liked even more was the animation of a Black Hole. Think of that orb as the metacenter of a varacious eating machine (core) of a recycling universe in process. A new (Big Bang) if you will?

By all means, "Touche"!

Perhaps behind camels parked in the driveway? Or, under the bed of Bens second, third, fourth or fifth wives? Who knows, just a WAG.

You're right. Let's give it a rest! "ALAS and ALACK", Worm holes and bullet holes, may the two never meet.

And just to lay things on an even keel, Yes; Bin Laden was given a descent funeral, just prior to his burial at sea. May 02, 2011 the early AM. Somewhere in the Persian Gulf?, Bin Laden was given a religious funeral prior to his interment, senior naval officers confirmed to media. Religious rituals were carried out by members of the 3rd shift "Black Gang", aboard the USS Carl Vinson aircraft carrier In accordance with Islamic practices. Bin Laden was washed, wrapped in a sheet of velvety, white pigs hair before being dumped, along with the days garbage; over the fantail. But a US Navy SEAL custom for sworn enemies was also conducted. Team members took a leak on his shroud of pigs hair, followed by the Black Gang jamming a raw pork sandwich in his mouth and a kosher hot dog up his butt,(two minutes), before giving him the final deep six. This was confirmed and sworn to by Washington Diplomats onboard who feared the same, if they didn't tell the truth for once in their life. What can you say other than:,"Semper Fi"!

Goes to show you how much I know about espionage. I can't find a porn store in Cleveland that doesn't have a sign, (picture) of Heidi with her knickers pulled down.

Don't tell me none of you guys have ever heard of collusion, espionage and sabotage?
