  1. As far as I can tell, he's an idiot or a crook. If he's fiddling his taxes then he's a crook. If he isn't fiddling then he can show the world his tax returns. Not only will this avoid the potential lost votes from people who say "I would vote for him, but I can't trust him because he's hiding his tax returns" but he has a God-given opportunity to make his opponent look stupid. Failing to make use of those advantages is just plain dumb.
  2. Conceivably, but, as has been pointed out, you can't calculate it. Your equation is plain wrong.
  3. Just a thought (and I have to admit that I haven't looked carefully through all 6 pages of the discussion, so I may have missed where this was answered before) The 2nd amendment says "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." and seems to be based on a false premise i.e. that "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State" Many places don't have a militia, but have a reasonably free state. Equally, many places have more militias than they know what to do with, but are not free. Since that amendment is technically wrong, shouldn't it be removed anyway?
  4. This assertion "If two large masses are close together and both are non-rotating and masses are not in motion related to each other there won't be any gravitation. One proof is Cavendish experiment." from your text is clearly wrong on two counts. Firstly there is a gravitational effect and secondly the Cavendish experiment demonstrates the presence of a force (with non- moving masses) which is exactly the opposite of what you have said. I don't honestly recommend that you spend time trying again.
  5. 1 Well, you are half right. The cell contains information. There is no need or logical reason to suppose that it comes from a mind. 2 How did God come to be? At least I can point at the red shift as evidence for how the universe started. (there's plenty of other evidence too) That's a whole lot more evidence than you can put forward. 3 There goes the neighbourhood.
  6. " Around 30 inches long, they look bizarrely like huge grey penises" What do you mean "huge"?
  7. You are, clearly, entitled to stand on the side of the fence labelled as "conspiracy theorist" if you like. Of course, Obama's place of birth only matters because of the constitution. If you are prepared to ignore that (in the manner of someone removing early voting rights from some, but not all citizens) then he's a legitimate president anyway.
  8. I guess it depends what you mean by "still in question" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barack_Obama_citizenship_conspiracy_theories
  9. It was (reasonably) fair until Ohio's republican governor decided to change it. Obama wants to tell them to change it back. Incidentally, re "I haven't found truth in anything that whole liberal tribe has spawned." How about Obama is not a Moslem and he was born in the USA? The interesting thing about those truths is that they were pointed out in direct response to lies from their opponents.
  10. As far as I can tell, what he said was that, under the US constitution, all citizens have equal voting rights, even if they are a "every wino, derelict (or) lazy bum" and that this state of affairs should continue for those who are from Ohio.
  11. It will have been written in machine code or assembly language. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Machine_code http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Assembly_language
  12. Iff it were established that a natural cause was unlikely then you would have a point. However there is nothing unlikely about it. ID is made up. The courts have ruled on it. The nature of the universe is not decided by your beliefs.
  13. This is logically inconsistent. If abiogenesis is impossible then nothing could have created the " intelligent, living creator".
  14. It's an insulator.
  15. That's not a contradiction, it's a misunderstanding The two sides of this " slower when moving = slow motion" are not actually equal. If I watch a "slow motion" video of a hummingbird , it doesn't make the real bird slow down. The speeds of video and the bird are not actually related. So time can run slower in a moving frame without any problems (and experiments show that it actually does).
  16. Since most people who go swimming don't get ear infections there must be some underlying difference between you and the rest of the population. You might want to talk to your doctor about what that difference might be and what (if anything) you can do about it.
  17. Someone does a good job (as it happens, in the entertainment business) and gets paid for it. They get taxed on that income. Where is the story here?
  18. Perhaps, but it would be silly to assume that they were both "Inspired by the supreme being" without looking at the idea that they cheated.
  19. When I was at school, if 2 kids got the same wrong answer it was assumed that they were copying. http://lolwtfcomics.blogspot.co.uk/2012/06/christians-y-u-not-at-least-original.html (It's not, of course, totally accurate, but it illustrates the point.)
  20. Cherrypicking may be a threat. Videoing still isn't. There isn't any real difference between me saying the service was bad and me showing a video that indicates that the service was bad. Both could be misleading. In any event, there's no real reason to suppose that his intention was to do anything but go to McD's to eat. Accordingly, there was little reason to ask him to leave (Though that is, of course, still the right of the owner or their agent).
  21. The arrival of the IRS agent ends the ignorance and the bliss simultaneously. I don't need to plan how to answer the questions: I just answer them honestly. It worked once... http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-16740033
  22. For what it's worth, this tells you what happens when the same imaginary student meets a better imaginary prof. http://www.bowness.demon.co.uk/brain.htm Incidentally, a good reason to quote it is so the OP can't change it and claim "That's not what I wrote". It seems pretty likely that, in this case, the OP is a liar.
  23. If the "power of prayer" is actually real, then it is part of the nature that God (if He exists) created. It is, therefore perfectly open to exploration by experiment. The experiment was done. It failed to show any effect. This shows that the power of prayer is either small (i.e. below the detection limit of the experiment) or non-existent. So praying is either pointless or nearly pointless.
  24. "You're ignorant. How do you know that you're dying because of something you did, much less that it was that tasty sweet drink you had hours ago? " You don't know what, but you know that something is wrong. So you have (some) knowledge so you are not ignorant. Anyway I'm off on holiday soon so I don't care.
