A) As always, you're twisting things. B) You just did. And I will be the one who stops. This is seriously not going anywhere. Too bad, the subject is really interresting. Or was.

Yes, and now we know how you have 725 posts when you joined in January 2004.

We've been over this a thousand times.. all we do in the past posts is repeating things and arguing. This is just not going anywhere.

I agree I just noticed I fell into it myself... anyone has a rope? ;p ~moo (That was a suggestion to close the topic if no one understood it... )

I lost you too now. I don't understand your question ... :|

What Really Killed the Dinosaurs?
mooeypoo replied to Ms. DNA's topic in Evolution, Morphology and Exobiology
Actually, it is And Pinch -- how do you base your assumption of cross breeding between T-Rex and Crocs (even if it was physically possible, and of course - THAT SIMPLE genewise)... ~moo -
btw --- oops I was in teh first page and posted the reply, I'm sorry it's a bit "stuck" in the middle. It's still what i wanted to say but... err.. I didn't notice your continuance atinymonkey O.O sorry ~moo

What Really Killed the Dinosaurs?
mooeypoo replied to Ms. DNA's topic in Evolution, Morphology and Exobiology
Oii Oiii... Crocodiles (though a bit different in size) were existing in the jurassic era, along with the dinosaurs. So did whales, btw. They weren't "developed from dinos" they WERE in the DINO's era. Check your info. That part actually supports Sayonara's side in the debate... ~moo -
I could start splashing all I know about the war and such but it would be completely off the subject.. I could do that some other time and it's not THAT important anyways to this discussion. But I still think that this example proves two things: 1. That meddling in another country's politics is required of the WORLD sometimes (not all the time). 2. That a superpower is also responsible to keeping balance in the world, and has much more responsibility. There's a limit to all, of course- too much meddling is baddddd but turning a blind eye is also bad... so somewhere in the middle. I don't think there's a choice to superpowers btw - it's a given situation. They have POWER. Logically ~moo

What Really Killed the Dinosaurs?

I completely agree. My point was that it's only a theory, though. But of course - in order to find flaws or find a "better" theory, you need to know what already exists. Of course. that's why I'm reading Hawkings book now finally Sorting myself before I can start understanding tyhat string theory I heard about ... ~moo -
Gotcha.. okay so I was wrong But not entirely, concidering the fact the question was about snow. And snow's "dirty" water.. so... err... it should be a cunductor. Right? RIGHT?!!?!?!?!?! <off to kill her physics teacher from third grade> ~moo

What Really Killed the Dinosaurs?
mooeypoo replied to Ms. DNA's topic in Evolution, Morphology and Exobiology
I actually tend to agree with you, pinch, that the dinosaurs weren't necessarily extinct by meteor, and it might ahve been genetical I just don't agree on the way you present the things.. I admit my knowledge in biology and genes is quite limited but from what I *do* know, it's not that simple to just calculate things like that... I agree though - the theory that dinosaurs were extinct by a meteor is not entirely proven, its an educated assumption and should be treated as such. ~moo -
I've heard that the EM force is 1e39 times bigger than the Gravitational force of earth, and that infact what stops our bodies from continuing on to the center of the earth is the Electromagnetic force between our own atoms and the atoms of the ground. If any of this is wrong, please let me know, it's quite a new subject for me (Only recently I've started reading seriously about quantum physics). So I have a question, to understand that amazingly powerful force. There are (the way I see it) two options why our bodies STOP on the ground and not move on -- [*] The EM force of the ground's atoms together with the atoms in OUR body are preventing "passage" from both matters (Therefore, there's some sort of repelling force). [*] The EM Force realigns our body's atoms in a way that "matter meets matter" and there cannot be any passage of atoms. [/list=1] So my hypothetical question is this: If I would throw a single atom to the ground (it cannot be aligned since it's a SINGLE atom..) will it PASS earth and reach it's core -or will it behave like a "matter" and the earth's atoms would be able to stop it's movement...? Please explain either one of those options .. or... a third one if I got it all wrong.. (I know it all depends also on how powerfully i throw that atom to the ground but let's assume I am not using super-big strength, but relying on simple gravity..) Thanks!! ~moo

Yes, it's a bit clearer. And it sounds completely bogus. Everything you said now, I can explain MUCH BETTER with current theories of string theory and quantum theory, without going to much higher unfounded assumptions of waves of energy. How does gravity fit into that wave? If I got what you said right, then we're supposed to move UP and DOWN from gravity, because it's a wave... I got the idea that waves cancel each other, but if that's your way of proving why earth is being attracted to the sun or the moon spins around the earth it's fine, it fits, but you're explaining gravity (the Newtonian gravity, actually, not even Einstain's gravity) by calling it WAVES. Call it toast. Same thing. I am sorry, I understand your theory, I just seriously don't see how its more benefitial and explanatory than any other better and already existing theory. And don't think I'm not trying.. I seriously am.. I just.. don't find reason in this one. ~moo

Actually sorry to be quite blunt but America DID get involevd it just chose to ignore.. Vanze' (sp?) committee and the Bermuda Summit (sp again sorry) are sheer proof. ~moo

Okay. READ. MY. POSTS. And I seriously lost you man. I am saying "It would be wrong in my opinion" and yu say "ah. So it would be right". You have frustrated me officially. ~one frustrated moo

no no no It would hurt the CAUSE. And yes, it would also hurt the people and their families, but my point is that I think it would hurt the entire cause. If you use the information (which, I already said you don't HAVE TO it's better to get it again ANYWAYS it's not unique data) you give *even by little* legitimization for the entire process of TAKING those tests and results and such. So yes, it would hurt the people. Not the RESEARCH. The DATA from that NAZIs. ~moo

Mars could have once sustained life!!!
mooeypoo replied to Mark's topic in Evolution, Morphology and Exobiology
I didn't mean you, Sayonara I meant DarthDooku Should have said so in my post, sorry.. ~moo -
True, I didn't think about that... Okay, we can get to ALMOST stopping time.. I err.. think that should be more accurate.. ~moo

Mars could have once sustained life!!!
mooeypoo replied to Mark's topic in Evolution, Morphology and Exobiology
Wait, I think I got you wrong... are you saying there cannot be any life form that sustains incredible heat or cold? If I did understand that right, then I completely disagree. Other than the fact I have tons of scifi books to suggest (that actually show up really neat biology ideas about life forms that defy earth's biology rules - in a scientifical way of course), I have much to say on the subject, but I'm not sure I got it right... did I? O.O ~moo -
Theoretically if we manage to SLOW time, it logically means that STOPPING time is possible. However, odds are we won't even know. Time is personal, if time stopped - or went "slower" you wouldn't have noticed it since EVERYTHING you ARE would go slower, including your consciousness and being - therefore you may just think you're as "normal" as the rest of the universe, while you're actually moving a zillion million million times slower... just a possibility.. ~moo
