I believe in science, not religion. I think that religion has been used as an excuse for intolerance and has oppresed science for too long. I am a believer in evolution and I think that religion has no place in our schools. I also think people have a right express to what what they believe including religion, but they also have an obligation to be open minded, and accept what others think without passing jusdgement on them or trying to force their beliefs on others. ugh 85 words o well i guess im just that complex

Lately, since the House elections are coming soon, there have been a lot of political ads on TV. And i mean a LOT. And so far in every single ad I've seen, all they do is bash the other guy. I have absolutly no clue what anyone stands for and not one candidate has made a commercial on their beliefs. I know why not to vote for everyone but no one will stop insulting the other guy and actually inform people of their views. And then in a recent commercial I saw, again all it did was criticize the other guy, but this time at the end it said "no wonder he is leading a negative campaign"(refering to the other candidate). WHA???? I just watched 2 minutes of you bashing him and you say HE is leading a negative campaign?(well he is but so is the candidate that the commercial is for). Um hello, hypocrite alert!!! I cant stand politicians. /end rant

A group of friends and I have decided to rent out an ice rink for a few hours each week this winter. I used to play hockey when i was very little so I know that it can be very expensive to get equipment My question is, does anyone know about how much it is to get all the equipment I need. I want to get used stuff to cut down the price and I have no clue how much used equipment is. I dont have anything at the moment, I have to buy skates, a stick, pretty much everything I need I would have to buy. If someone knows how much it would be and could give me a ballpark figure on how much it might be it would be greatly appreciated.

Ok that makes sense. I have another question though. Why is the speed of light the barrier that we cant cross? Why is it that precise speed and not some other speed? Sure light goes that fast but what does that have to do with anything? Thanks again.

From my understanding it is impossible to go the speed of light because as you go faster you get more massive which takes more energy so it would take an infinite amount of evergy to go the speed of light. I also just learned that as you go faster you get shorter, but I don't know how this would happen if you are getting more massive. Can someone clear this up for me?

Recently there has been an outbreak of keylogger viruses getting into peoples computers. I play an online game (world of warcraft) and many players have lost their accounts becuase of it. What happens is someone will post a link to a site where a keylogger will be downloaded. Then the next time you try to log into a game it steals your account info.
