I have an old lab that I did with diffusion across a membrane. I could get the paper from school tomorrow and paste it onto here. It essentially involved a plastic bag that had iodine and some other things and you could show diffusion across the membrane because the liquids would change when they reacted with one another.

I was wondering if the cell cycle occurs constantly and only speeds up or slows down or can it come to a complete hault? My science teacher claims it can come to a complete halt when cells such as skin cells come in contact with other cells because of external regulators. thanks
