Sometimes I see different times logged for the same post... Why ? Differs if logged in, getting then local time instead of GMT? Also, isn't 12:53 AM supposed to be 00:53 if GMT?

If during surgery, a small portion of an organ -say liver- is severed-off and a minute later is placed back nearly as it was but not perfectly aligned to its original position; will it re-attach and function, heal and work properly or the portion will die/rot/cause trouble ?

When voltage is applied to a resistor, current 'moves' through it, or flows. It flows in the amount the resistor value or resistance allows. Can be a little, can be a lot. Think of a water pipe where the flow is restricted by an obstruction inside the pipe. The obstruction is the resistor. The litres per second is the current flowing, the water pressure applied to the pipe is the voltage. A small obstruction will allow more current or flow of the water trough it. For the Ohm's law formula, the current flowing is the pressure applied divided by the amount of obstruction.

Hi. The intake manifold in my automobile has a vacuum indicator that signals when to replace the air filter. Even my vacuum cleaner has one to signal the flow trough the collecting bag is impaired. I want to install an indicator to tell me when my central airconditioner / furnace needs filter replacement/cleaning. What would be a reasonable figure for the amount of vacuum at the HVAC blower intake to consider it restricted, in need of attention ?

I do not care about the method how. Just modify my DNA with some from a shark, to renew teeth when they go bad... And from a crab DNA, to regrow a limb if needed.

On earth, fish may behave as there is no gravity, hovering in midwater without sinking. But they stay belly down (because of their bladder?) Would they orient themselves randomly in microgravity ? Hi all. Any clues on where to find figures for magnetic field attenuation trough seawater ? As at different depths/temperatures/paths, will a compass become less sensitive to earth magnetic field ?

Welcome. The amount of effort, time, sweat, tears and money to do such conversion for a novice can be beaten over 100-to-1 by getting a motor from a wreck car boneyard for a couple of dollars. Starter, window actuator, blower fans,... Feeding 12VDC into the stator from the external + terminal will produce no magnetism as there is built-in diodes preventing current. Study how it works first, then for a learning experience go ahead for a chance of frustration. It was made as alternator; and that is what is supposed to be for.

There was a Nd magnet for years holding a deflecting aluminium foil for stray ambers on my standalone fireplace wall. It dropped as a dead fly a day the temperature was raised considerably. I cannot tell how many degrees, but that data has to be available on the net. So yes, that is one sure way to turn a magnet into a piece of metal.
