Try to discern if the numbness is due to hands position or neck position. Cervical nerves will produce it, specially if there is some history of trauma. Then, follow other pertinent positioning tactics to avoid it. Lower the seat, raise handlebars, both...?

I forget how are they named... optical something... Is there vendors that you know of, for 'benchtop' size? They work by shining a laser onto some fluid that solidifies when hit by its ultraviolet light. Sort of a loca glue curing layer by layer to form a solid.

The lack of range/performance of an electric vehicle to keep up with cyclists could be fixed with several staged electric vehicles. But exhaust fumes next to competing athletes is criminal.

Yep. Did not detect crap, neither gold, silver... under any circumstances, patiently evaluated for a couple of days I had it at home. As good detector as a turd.

Hi. Is there a reason that nobody (that I know of) has ever attempted to complain or eliminate support and media non-electric automobiles and motorcycles riding next and together with bicycles on competitions; injecting their exhaust fumes to athletes that are exerting intense physical extenuation ?

Has anyone here witnessed events on divining; failed or successful ? Bring your story. Some municipal water companies have their 'expert' along with the electronic equipment operator to search for leaks. What is behind the smoke cloud and mirrors worth evaluating? Once I had in my hands a device (very well made) to 'detect' gold, silver, and... paper money. The 'instrument' was not cheap, with a user manual with a weird explanation of principle of operation using some 'solar rays bounce detection' A scam/ripoff/whatever ? that had its believers. In a speculative posibility of some certain nuclear spent fuel could provide heat for a dwelling; would it be possible to 'shut it off' in summer and 'hold it' for winter use only ?

Still suspect the magnitude of interest here is impetus. Impetus is defined as being very similar to the suggested momentum. What I do not see clear is the difference between impetus and momentum, being the latter, mass times velocity. Implies a gravity constant. Can someone explain ? ----> https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Theory_of_impetus Where one says is weight times velocity. Hitting a plain golf ball with the club; and hitting another containing a lead core should behave different in reach, speed and size of the splash into the pond. I have fallen into this same dilemma repeatedly; as example the size and stiffness on diver fins matching the wearer strenght for optimal propulsion. Also, size of oars. Similar to electronics impedance matching, which I do understand. But never found the same with dynamics. How is it called ?
-
Unsure if in English is also called impetus.

Hi all. My speargun takes 80 lbs-force (355 Newton) to pull its elastic rubber band that will impulse a 0.4Kg spearshaft when pulling the trigger. Assuming no friction nor drag by water, when 'firing', the elastic band applies its force to the spearshaft while contracting during -say 0.02 seconds- The push force decreases linearly? to zero by the moment the spearshaft 'takes off'; I believe as a compressed spring pushing a streamlined object. Is it rational to say that a lightweight spearshaft will have little penetration into a target; and if it is too heavy, lacking initial and final velocity will also have little penetration into target ? How to determine the optimal mass (or weight) of a spearshaft for most penetration at target for a given initial force ? Just a picture as aid ----> http://www.thespecialistsltd.com/files/Speargun.jpg

I think they are called 'glands' when on a flat surface. What is a proper tool to machine the 'nesting' for o-rings on bronze ? Who was Abraham that religions get named after him?
Externet replied to Robittybob1's topic in Religion
"....5 He took him outside and said, “Look up at the sky and count the stars—if indeed you can count them.” Then he said to him, “So shall your offspring[a] be.” 6 Abram believed the Lord, and he credited it to him as righteousness....." Wait a moment... The creator of the stars asked that guy to count the stars ? Died before finishing ? And the count was after pencil and paper were created; or was it chisel and stone ? -
If aerial commuting reaches reality some day, it better be married to autonomous auto-piloting to avoid the prepotents and idiots in-a-hurry drivers. What reasons would make aerial commuting preferable to automated automobiles ? What bothers you about cars ? Transit time ? What speed would you be satisfied with to have your own flying transporter ?

Hi. Since the original post, related to an article in Spanish (if someone wants it, ask) , found English terminology for the technique, and additional information. The basics is ----> https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fish_aggregating_device. And the 'parasols' are placed on purpose by fishing fleets to further reap the seas after they have drifted away, not to protect reserves. And it is not a new thing. ----> https://duckduckgo.com/?q=fish+aggregating+devices&t=canonical&iax=1&ia=images http://www.asdomar.it/eng/img/reti-a-circuzione-fad.png

If I understood well, there is some sort of large? floating? film? placed on the sea surface of marine reserves, where fishing is not allowed. Fish congregate under these by whatever reason they prefer, and when these 'umbrellas' -or parasols- drift outside of the protected zones, fishing fleets do their feast. Clever, and will not extend comments beyond that. Has anyone heard of such or know details about the technique / item put to float ?

Some friends found it interesting when I told them... perhaps you too. Meanings in Español : Nevada = snowed Florida = bloomed Texas = roof tiles Colorado = red Montana = mountain (montaña)

Yes. An oscillator runs at an specific frequency and when its electrical signal is applied to an antenna, it travels over the air. If that carrier signal has another superimposed signal to it, both are propagated; the carrier and the signal. The process to 'merge' both is called modulation. At the receiver end, the carrier is discarded and the signal of interest (audio) is extracted by another circuit called demodulator or detector. Tutorials show schematic diagrams. There, lines are interconnecting wires between components expressed as symbols. Better print this : ----> http://web.gps.caltech.edu/~als/IRMS/course-materials/lecture-1---electricity/circuit_symbols.pdf There is several flavors of oscillators and of modulators. ----> http://www.electronics-tutorials.com/oscillators/oscillator-basics.htm The electrical signal is actually added by a modulator circuit, also there is several flavors. Watch this. (I have not fully) and should help ----> Another site for your future is : ----> http://www.discovercircuits.com/resources/tutorials.html But my number one suggestion is start by obtaining a kit like these and read carefully its manual, that should be basic and good: ----> http://www.ebay.com/itm/Science-Experiment-Kit-Dangerous-Book-Essential-Electronics-from-Brookstone-/151384016052?hash=item233f30c4b4:g:~24AAOSwiylXBYe3 ----> http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-RadioShack-Make-It-Electronics-Component-Kit-1-250-Pieces-Experiments-1-11-/371594888159?hash=item5684c803df:g:m~UAAOSwy5ZXBsxF And do not expect to learn/do it all on the web. Books are important. Very important.

It is difficult to express what happens until you study and understand more of the principles involved in electronics. Meanwhile, do a couple of unusual things... - Connect the two terminals of your stereo speaker wired to the other stereo speaker and to nothing else. Tap with your fingers the cone of one speaker and observe the other speaker cone. One behaves as a microphone, the other as speaker. -Grab between thumb and index the antenna of your automobile just an inch above its base and shake it. Observe how much the base moves and how much the tip moves. Sort of mechanical amplification. Radio as in the posted title and audio are similar electrically but with different behaviors. Radio frequencies have the ability of electrically traveling over the air; audio hardly travels electrically over the air. If you have seen the discotheque lights that flash and change intensity at the rhythm of music... The light you see is the carrier signal as a radiowave; the flashing cadence is the audio or information carried (modulation). Your eyes are the receiving antenna, your brain discerns the rhythm. There is a loooong path of learning in front of you, with many things to discover. Keep this link ----> http://www.williamson-labs.com/ for hopefully a near future.
