i is the square root of -1, an "imaginary" number.
sqrt(4) = 2
sqrt(-4) = 2i
i^2=-1
e^i = cis(1) (cis is the function cos(x)+i*sin(x))
another interesting property is i^i = e^(-:pi:/2)
ln(-x) = ln(x) + :pi:i
We can already do that. Unlike humans, plants can survive with a condition called polyploidy, extra sets of chromosomes. This causes excessive growth. The more sets of chromosomes, the larger it will be.
You may be drunk, but right now im fuckig inebriated.. <3 fraternity parties
and i stiukll can do astrophyscis problems, and jnoi i dpon't feel like correcting my TPOYS
No, but the experience does involve a complete breakdown of everything that is reality. "DMT hyperspace" as its called.

I was searching Google for phrases to determine our page ranks for some search terms... I searched for "zarkov" and among the first page results were numerous references to the use of DMT. Not only is this ironic because I just mentioned DMT (dimethyltryptamine) in another thread, but because it's what our dear friend must have been smoking when he came up with his ideas.
(For those who don't know, DMT is a hallucinogen that is more powerful than LSD, you completely lose control of your body and for hours (~20 minutes 'real' time) you're basically in a whole different universe.)
On another note, I have reclaimed the #2 posting position from Zarkov, and I'm catching up to aman i shall be number one again!
or i could just use my elite voodoo powers to edit the postcounts
Well just looking at it I see what they did.
The two triangular parts were switched, creating room for the orange part to move off the top of the green on onto the other part. This created an extension of 3 units, compared with the 5 units, so you have 2 extra units left, the bottom of it is 2 units, so you wind up with one extra unit.
But it would take an antimatter engine to get there in any reasonable amount of time (still 100s or more years), or a technology that is even farther away than antimatter as fuel.
Why would you have to store it as an ion? CERN and Fermilab don't store their antimatter as ions... and it took them over a year to make the 50,000 atoms, so they did in fact store them long term.
Antimatter can be contained in a gravitational field, and I believe they're using some kind of magnetic field to store it too. Antimatter weapons will be practical as soon as producing it in sufficient quantities is practical, storage isn't an obstacle. Of course, short of a sudden revolution in physics, it will be a while before it can be mass produced... 50,000 atoms of anti-hydrogen is 8.3x10-20 grams of anti-H.
When scientists cloned cats, they were genetically identical to the original, but the patterns on their fur were different. It would be interesting to know how external factors influence traits like that.
Any forums without a moderator are moderated by me and blike.
Personally, I don't see why anyone besides Zarkov, or someone who wanted to delete/edit Zarkov's posts, would want to moderate pseudoscience
Charge. electron is -1, antielectron (positron) is +1, proton is +1, antiproton is -1. A few other properties are different too (i.e. ones that let you differentiate between a neutron and antineutron) but charge is main one.
That would depend on the kind of blindness. If they were blind just because of a problem with the optical nerve, they would be able to see with stimulation of the visual parts of the brain... but if that area of the brain was damages, there can't be sight.
And when I'm drunk, I can point to my nose... as well as do all those other things And we're talking really drunk (~.5 BAL)
