Three years of amazing escapades in speeding like a maniac and getting away with it came to an end this weekend, when a Broward county officer pulled me over for doing 89 along an empty portion of a 4-lane interstate highway, just based on how fast he "thought" I was going (my radar detector would have picked his radar gun up, and he told me flat out he didn't use one). I received a $123 ticket for going 19mph over the speed limit, and I will be fighting it in court since I should have received a warning at most.
