This evening President George W. Bush stated that he supported legislation that would ban all human cloning. This is a clear example of conservative religious politics being used to stifle science. It signals a growing rift between scientists and conservative politicians like Bush, who consult the Vatican on their policy for cloning.

You don't need to call in suicidal people specifically, but rather severely depressed people. However, I believe serotonin concentration differentials are consequential anyway; that is, whatever is causing depression is causing changes in serotonin, and serotonin is not causing depression, as this is an extremely common neurotransmitter with effects ranging from normal cell functions to acid trips. -
Don't know him. And I'm not 83 :/

Space suits provide more protection from the suns radiation than the atmosphere does. They don't come back with sunburn from a 15 minute spacewalk, cant' say the same for southern beachgoers.

I guess no one really has the knowledge to work through problems involving this. The question should rather be, what makes an electron, not even on the quantum size scale, be any different from any other particle? Just saying "well it is" is bogus, please back up your flawed logic. I don't know why you're refusing to do this.

Does it really matter? You know he's a cretin.

I believe teachers should teach at the highest level, therefore the proper bell curve will be established instead of 47% of students receiving an A average according to recent studies.

I believe that particles below a Planck length will not have a structure that can support mass, however please stop arguing and start proving how a particle whose divisions would be above a Planck length could have no volume.

Well I like what you have to say, just not the fact that you're pretending to be someone you're not.

It sucks. Teachers are forced to teach to the stupidest kids in the class. While it helps them, it stifles the top students. Your "No Child Left Behind" crap is pandering to the blue collar world of ignorance to garner support for the governments continuing policy of devoting all its resources to the people whose intelligence lacks the facilities to stop making excuses for their own shortcomings and blaming the system.

Well I'm sure you're also aware stating that you speak for the president in any official capacity is also illegal.

Eye color is controlled by the presence of pigment, or the lack of it (there is no blue pigment, it's just an absense of any pigment). When you die, the body stops making it.

This topic is of interest to scientists, therefore perfectly acceptable for discussion here.

So I guess we shouldn't have stopped Hitler either, so what if he took over Europe? I guess we should let them live as they want to. How the dictator wants to live is not how the people want to live. No one has mentioned that Iraq opens fire hundreds of time every year on coalition aircraft in the no-fly zone, and hasn't stopped with the passage of another UN resolution.

Why do you even care Adam, you're convinced the world is ending in March anyway.

You could just take a pencil and scribble on a piece of paper, and since you're a URM@USF, get an A because you're disadvantaged.

I don't think there is an official way. But steer clear of ebonics.

(1) Omissions in the declaration WERE made. Iraq HAS NOT cooperated fully. Both conditions of material breach are met. (2) The Iraqii statement was not currently accurate. First off all, the warheads they "forgot about" were not listed in the supposedly complete report, second of all, the question has still not been answered, and is required to be answered, of what happened to their stockpiles. (3) A resolution calling for action has been drafted and will soon be presented. (4) Refusing to provide information as to if their stockpiles were destroyed is a PRESENT breach. (5) Yes, it can. (6) Where's the justice in letting the injustice of a maniac dictator continue to oppress the Iraqii people? (7) It is even less advisable, for the safety and security of Iraqii people as well as our nations, to allow him to stay in power with his unaccountedfor biological and chemical weapons.

I'm still waiting for someone to mathematically illustrate how massive objects cannot have volume... When proof is demanded, simply saying something is true is worthless without backing it up.

The arms inspectors have said Iraq letting them go wherever they want is nothing more than a game of hide and seek. The burden is on Iraq to account for weapons they've admitted to having. I don't see how people don't understand this. They are refusing to explain what happened to weapons they admitted to having; the inspecters have not found any evidence of their destruction. Iraq is also refusing to allow scientists to be interviewed in private. Their declaration, which was supposed to address what happened to the weapons they had at the end of the Gulf War, did not contain any new information.

Intelligence we have doesn't stop the fact that they are blatantly refusing to tell weapons inspectors what happened to the weapons in direct violation of UN resolution 1441, and this is something Mr. Blix said himself this morning.
