It would only effect the theories in it was a common natural state, not a state inducible only by vast improvments in particle accelerators to apply them.
I'm open to being proved wrong on this, but you'll have to show me some mathematical proof.
I apologize also, I was just pissed off because I converted all of it then internet explorer froze when I tried to upload it.. it actually only took 10 minutes to convert
We simply don't know if they can or cannot be split, but no one is saying it's not beyond the realm of good possibility. We don't even know the radius of the "fundamental particles," only that it's smaller than 10^-19.
We've got to be overloooking some simple governing rules for particles, I strongly doubt the ultimate answer is impossibly complex like current equations indicate.
Large portions of the Internet today were extremely slow or completely inaccessible as a virus similar to Code Red attacked. The virus exploited security holes in Microsoft SQL server. The slowdown of the Internet arose from the agressive victim scanning of the virus, sending out thousands of probes each second. It has overwhelmed alot of backbones.
Update: It appears like Microsoft's own networks were hit hard by these attacks. Now they see first hand how insecure their products are.

Unlike some people here, I recognize when I don't know enough about something to take my level of understanding and skip over all that I don't know to arrive at a conclusion.
