  1. I presume the 2nd one refers to 'consecutive integer'. Let us set our numbers as x (divisible by 3), x+1 and x+2. For example, 3, 4 and 5. x+1 + x+2 = 2x+3, divisible by 3. However, any sum involving the multiple of 3 cannot be divisible by 3, because you end up with either 2x+1 or 2x+2. Re: the first one, Basically it's the same answer as the 2nd one. Taking 5 consecutive numbers, one MUST be divisible by 5, and thus so must the product. It's fairly clear where this assertion comes from.

It's all fairly approximate; obviously he didn't mean 5,000,000,000 exactly, but 5x10^9. One significant figure.
  3. The Elegant Universe is better, much better, than A Brief History of Time.
  4. Photoshop is better, but the Animation Shop did everything I needed.
  5. God knows. I just used Animation Shop 3.
  6. Basically, it describes the base multiple for work (ie, energy interactions) to happen in. It's used for various things, including calculating the energy of photons.
  7. I did mine in a paint style, but paint can't do animated gifs so it was done in the animation studio of PSP8.
  8. The most annoying thing, I find, is people who use 'I' for the accusative.
  9. Absolution is their best album so far, although I remember Bellamy saying in mid 2002 that their next album would be a happy affair with bunnies and small flowers. It's as bad as Radiohead; 'We think Amnesiac is a pretty straight up rock album'.
  10. Can you download it (c+p link), host it, and change the link? I need webspace

  13. As a christmas present, have a trip inside Jakiri's world of modding! Listen to this and imagine you're deleting threads!
  14. Whilst swan's explanation may be technically incorrect, it still illustrates the correct definitions of the terms; I don't think the answers are geared towards physicists.
  15. It's a difficult choice; a larger avatar means a greater internet presence, and therefore a reinforcement of the self, whilst a christmas avatar means conformity and stability in the crowd.

    Read the post after his.
  17. Just make it into a snowflake.
  18. It's a bit of a circular question, because you've ignored the bolded part of the post.
  19. Although there are countries in the world who don't recognise patents, the US isn't one of them.
