  1. Is Debatemobile the jamaican Batmobile?
  2. Yeah, damn scientists with their 'evidence'
  3. Only if you give yourself 9 for racist/prejudiced remarks. Lets look at what you've said: 'Homosexuals are unnatural' This has been proven TIME AND AGAIN to be false 'Homosexuality is a malfunction' Ditto There are many more in that thread in politics, but I don't have the time or inclination to go through it.
  4. Ignoring the fact that semantics and pedantics are extremely important in science (especially when performing experiments)... You're just an imbecile aren't you? I'm sorry, but I can't really see any other explanation.
  5. Unless you believe in outside intervention (ie god, or somesuch) everything we do is a product of evolution. Stop trying to hide prejudice behind 'science', it's a woeful tactic that is pretty much bound to fall on it's face when you're arguing with scientists.
  6. He wasn't saying you don't go to parties you fool, just that solipsism isn't an empirically useful mindset
  7. The Templar Knights are a really bad example, because the homosexuality is only assumed because of the Witch Hunt that the french instituted; there's really no way to say one way or the other (aside from 'It's a military unit, they must do!')
  8. 1. Speed = distance / time. 2. None. Michaelson-Morely. 3. Yes. Time dilation, mass changes, all the other things in SR. Nuclear reactors, too.
  9. Not really, it's a state where the the substance exists as ions in and of themselves.
  10. I don't see how that's more embarassing than being killed by a virus. A virus isn't even alive for god's sake.
  11. If we'd be 'phuked' without them, then they're not exactly parasites are they?
  12. I don't see why that's an 'eugh', we've got enormous numbers of critters in general. As they don't really affect us in any meaningful way (would you change your lifestyle if you were told that having not known? (assuming you're not an oxygen tent based crazy of course)) I don't see why any tastebased comment should apply, since they for all intents and purposes don't exist.
  13. It's a Light Emitting Diode, of course it does. Anyway, anyone who didn't try it the other way round is pretty stupid anyway.
  14. Cu2S doesn't mean a 2:1 ratio in the masses.
  15. That's not what he's saying at all. He's already covered immune responses, duder.
  16. Surely just making the largest electrochemical cell would win? It's pretty simple...
  17. No it can't. Light can make other things emit electrons (the photoelectric effect), but that's like saying that I emit cd's because I can take them out of their boxes. Magnetism has photons. Light is an upshot of the Electromagnetic force.
  18. Light doesn't emit electrons. Magnetism isn't very similar to gravity at all, apart from it's a force. What you're basically saying is 'Hey! Forces cause force!'
  19. That's a nonsensical statement, because by definition the only way we can sense anything is through the force carriers, and therefore you're denying that the word 'detection' has any meaning.
  20. Guinness and a pint of orange juice (seperate that is). mmmm
  21. It won't stop. It will still be moving away from you at c, but it won't actually happen, because time is stationary at lightspeed.
  22. Read it differently; read it as (quite a bit) to (demonstrate that) rather than quite (a bit to demonstrate) that
  23. Everything derives from the fact that the speed of light is the same relative to all observers. See: Michaelson-Morely, and a couple of other experiments.
