Can't remember offhand, but here's a post from Radical Edward (who's currently studying for a PhD): I may give some actual examples, because one of the problems of being a physicist is that everyone decides to give you a sodding hawking book for christmas. I have about 8 of the bastard things. They never even stop to think whether getting a pop physics book for the layman for a physics student is a great idea.
  12. Depleted uranium is U238; ie Uranium in its naturally occuring ratio, with the U235 (the fissile stuff) taken out.
  13. '3' '=' and '5' are just symbols. The mathematics underneath will still be identical even if you randomly swap the meanings over. Furthermore, 'Beep beep (pause) beep beep beep (pause) beep beep beep beep beep (etc)' can only be interpreted mathematically as the prime numbers, no matter the base.

    Special Relativity specifically denies the possibility of the existance of an absolute rest frame duder. No ether possible. GR doesn't rely on an ether either. No it isn't, because it's not a plasma.
