Can someone please take a look at this and tell me where I am going wrong?
It’s part of a calculation for an Enzyme Activity Assay.
My enzyme solution prep is as follow: 0.02g to 50mL with deionised water (stock), 1 mL of stock to 200 mL with deionised water. 0.5mL of this is added to the reaction mixture (RM) – total volume of reaction mixture is 10.0mL.
One of the parameters in the activity calculation is - (mg of enzyme / RM)
so is it just a case of (20*1*0.5)/(50*200*10) = 1 x 10-4 – 0.0001 mg/mL of reaction mixture
Any help appreciated.
