That's exactly the opposite of my experiences.

I should point out that the "Windows default thingy" is much, much slower than 7-Zip.

You're acting like men are always the one to dump their boy/girlfriends. Then why aren't you a rich psychologist doing talk shows?

he tripped over a small, malicious penguin, which began to peck him to death.

7-Zip can handle pretty much the same number of formats as WinRar, and it's free.

You could also get a cheap dosimeter off of eBay and measure the background radiation of various places.

Nobody ever suggested that you should, either. There are certain things in life that are predicable, and certain ones that aren't. You can predict if it will hurt to jump off of a cliff (based off of your previous experience of falling off of a _____) but you can't predict what happens in a relationship unless you've had one or done a study. Why does it even matter? Or perhaps he was more "aggressive" in going after one than you are. Ever heard to the turn "jumping to conclusions"? You can't just make all of those conclusions based on your (limited) experiences and what Callipygous said... We're giving our opinion about dating. This is a discussion forum, not your personal blog.

Windows XP originally came with a trial version of WinZip (unlimited trial, but it takes longer to start up the longer you don't pay for it). I don't think Microsoft does that anymore--I had exactly the same problem as you do. If you want a decent free utility, try 7-Zip. The UI is a little bad, but it works well (and is very fast at decompressing) and has its own file format - 7z - which is even better than Zip (it works with Zip as well).
-
Oh yes, that too.

Probably because most people react on lust instead of waiting to see what the person is actually like.

Ha! I know one more digit than you do! [/nerd] 50,000 digits is just a bit overdoing it, don't you think?

If anyone was stupid enough to send passwords via GET instead of POST, then I'd have them shot.

Then I realized that the map was four years old, as it had the Balkan peninsula entirely screwed up (things change there), so I threw it out as worthless.

That's an interesting question, and probably out of my knowledge. Given that you don't think you'll have an AC supply, then it's probably not viable. However, you can go for something else, like a system of little plates connected to a servo that will pull the metal balls back to firing position.
-
Use electromagnets and a series of switches that can also be run in reverse, which would allow you to move the balls back to their original position (with a bit of fancy switching) without actually touching them.

Warning: mysql_result(): Unable to jump to row 0 on MySQL result index 7 in /home/ryanjone/public_html/Projects/UA_Strings/Project_UA_Include.php on line 62 Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/ryanjone/public_html/Projects/UA_Strings/Project_UA_Include.php:62) in /home/ryanjone/public_html/Projects/UA_Strings/Browser_testing.php on line 19 But it does figure it out correctly after that. (It's also clever enough to figure Opera out even when it's set to identify as IE, but only because Opera adds "Opera 9.0" to the end of the UA) I should point out that I already have a dynamic signature that is capable of detecting Netscape, IE, Mozilla, and Firefox. Well, when you use IE, it gives you a mozilla.org link, but whatever...

Depends on the time of day. Given you live in Florida, I'd recommend you avoid coming on during the evening (slow hours) but the afternoon is good (20 online sometimes). If you need help just ask, I can try to help.

Would be hard to sleep like that. -
You can download something like X-Chat or mIRC and connect manually. The information on how to connect is here.

Iframes are inline, so they can be as small/large as you'd like, anywhere on a page. Regular frames aren't as flexible.

Blame vB's designers' date=' not SFN. I was under the impression they were undergoing a redesign and so the code wasn't final. Microsoft never cared about standards. See above. No, it's because the template designers (vBulletin's designers) didn't care about it. The default templates are bloated, and when dave made his modifications to it, those were based on the default template. herme3: http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http%3A%2F%2Fen.wikipedia.org%2Fwiki%2FMain_Page One of the most visited websites in the world (31st, by Alexa's count) That doesn't mean it's officially sponsored. My website may be created by me, but that doesn't mean it's affiliated with anyone I work for. Not a valid argument. Internet Explorer does not create HTML content by itself (like vB) so you can't compare it to vB. And Schrodngr was wrong, anyways. (See above) Probably because they advertise Firefox, which has good standards support, and not spreadfirefox.com itself. And remember, Mozilla.com validates and that's the official website.

Google doesn't even look at keywords any more. It looks at actual content, and it doesn't let you search META descriptions. You can't search for the META description for a site and get that site, unless it's also included in that site. At least I think that's how it works.

When I think about a computer, I think about all of the people who use the internet to try to finish their homework.

Applied sciences are fine. The style guidelines are right there, and the peer review info is at http://www.wisci.org/wiki/WiSci:Peer_review.

Wiki Science or something. Aeternus came up with it (see this thread for details).
