Yes, but normally your hand is opaque. Perhaps the atoms in the hand will only emit light when the stimulation is powerful enough, as I said.

If you notice, the light dissipates instead of going shooting straight through your hand. My assumption is that the cells normally only let a tiny amount of light through, but when the light is powerful enough (laser) some gets through and causes the effect.

I think it would be detrimental to your grade when the car crashes into the person standing at the 2-meter line.

I was replying to YT. Anyways, it is an intersting idea of what you suggested... although it would be a waste of laser power as it is. The current lasers that are small enough to fit on a plane have very limited firings.

They could have it accelerate for the first half and decelerate for the second half. It decreases the average speed but it's more manageable. Or, perhaps, have it accelerate a while, then, decelerate in the landing pattern.

But if I were only to make one group, plus mods/admins, would it be that painful? If it would, I'd like to know what other forums there are, or if I can mod it (I'm hoping to learn PHP sometime...) to fix that.

Okay, now I'm seriously looking for one. Thing is, on the phpBB support forum, it seems like everyone is being hacked... how safe is it? Are there any good alternatives that are safe? This would be a forum with perhaps several thousand members. I don't need a lot of advanced features. What would be best?
