  1. Mozilla originally had the option to ALWAYS be in memory like IE, right?
  2. You have NEVER gotten spyware through IE‽ Are you nuts? And Firefox IS faster than IE, it's been tested. SFN doesn't necessarily have to be "safe," since any of the banner ads can give you spyware.
  3. Nobody even knows how much fossil fuel there is left!
  4. Also because only the most computer illiterate people would not switch to Firefox anyways. Did you download it to try it?
  5. What-you want all of the extensions to come with it? Then you'd have to download them all in the first place! I think it's very handy.
  6. It's much quicker than putting the tags in yourself. But why has nobody even bothered to look here?
  7. An essential for Firefox users on this forum: the BBCode extension. It lets you have a right-click menu for things like: Underlining Italicizing Quoteing Making lists Colors And so on (in fact, I used it to make that list) Try it!
  8. I don't know... spyware can be anything from something plain that collects data on your internet habits to something like malware that is a keylogger etc. That would really clog it up.
  9. All I did was tell it what programs to allow, and it has worked fine. A little pop-up appears if something new tries to get on, and you can tell it to allow it (and remember) or to block it. I have no need for the advaced options really.
  10. Try getting Spybot and Adaware to see if all of that nasty stuff is spyware. Then use Firefox and you won't get any more.
  11. Yes, but the question was how well emulators work, not how well you can dual boot.
  12. I know someone that blew up ducks by feeding them alka-seltzer. Apparently they can't burp...
  13. Not console emulators, but OS emulators. I heard someone who had just gotten a mac G5, and saying that the emulator for Windows was so good blah blah blah. Supposedly they're as fast as a good PC and a crash of the program it's running doesn't kill the computer. Is he just repeating what the ad said or is this true?
  14. Or you could just write [sarcasm]blah blah blah[/sarcasm] and get the same effect.
  15. The "balloon" idea may be kind of bad. Wouldn't that be one nasty stomach ache?
  16. http://www.scienceforums.net/forums/showthread.php?t=5234
  17. Methinks you should. NOBODY IS ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! rrgh.
  18. How about a little bookmark icon thingy? You know, the picture that sits beside bookmarks on the link bar.
  19. A stream of flourine will cause rubber to burst into flame. It's that bad.
  20. Learning Spanish. I do know BASIC...
  21. How's that?
  22. Switched to Zone Alarm. IT REMEMBERS WHAT I TELL IT! WOOHOO!
  23. Also people, when they read, "sub-vocalize," or basically their vocal chords vibrate without them speaking. They don't make any recognizable sounds, but you might just hear it if you REALLY tried. Your subconscious probably picks it up.
