  1. Well, nature contributes about 95% of the greenhouse effect, and cow and sheep farts are a big part of it. There's even a vaccine to help stop it.
  2. No. The light goes through the pupil, not the iris.
  3. Number 6 explains a lot. I went to Canada and got only about 6 hours sleep after coming back. But with number 4: I was sitting up. I understand gravity, but when you're sitting up it goes from one to the other? Thanks for responding!
  4. I have a REALLY bad cold (be sure you have a good antivirus program ). I'd just like to ask: Why does all of that, well, snot come out? Where does it come from? Why can my nose be clear yet I can't breathe through it? Typically one nostril is open at a time. Then suddenly it plugs up and the other opens up great. Why? Why don't we get immune to it, or make a vaccine? Just how contagious is it? Thank you.
  5. "Hiccup"? It looks more like one heck of a belch.
  6. I've switched! Yay! Except now Norton Anti-Spam (which I don't need anymore) keeps flagging emails as spam that aren't spam and I can't configure it for Thunderbird. At least it doesn't move them to another folder... so it's really just a matter of looks, seeing the [Norton AntiSpam] thing in front of the title all the time.
  7. Exactly. Infinite is not a number, it's an adjective. I.E: Infinite + 1 cannot exist, since infinite is not a number.
  8. It's not putting weapons in space, it's disabling satellites. And their ground stations.
  9. You have to pay to get the spam filter on Eudora. Thunderbird is totally free. I have norton 04, so I have no clue.
  10. McAffee stunk just as much. But it's not my decision to have Norton, so I really can't change it. Unless some big problem comes up, it stays. Outlook is not going to stay if I get my way.
  11. It's norton antispam + several accounts = runtime error. Read the articles that you post the links to.
  12. No, you just haven't been paying attention and apparently you are also taking things out of context. Now please let this end before this thread turns into too much spam. edit: Just noticed you fixed the spelling in the title...
  13. That's actually a very good point... I mean, while we're talking about swearing: What's so bad about it? What makes a word "bad"?
  14. So it IS norton... Now I really want to switch to Thunderbird...
  15. Personally I hate swearing and I think "Yay! Now I won't have to walk around in public with earplugs, and when I have kids I'll have to carefully shield them from that along with all of the other responsibilities of a parent! Whee! What fun!" Or, if you wanted to be funny, you could say, "I hate &@#&ing swearing."
  16. Fine with me... now I need to see if my stupid firewall will let it through and what everyone else here will say. Anyone know why Outlook gives me a "C++ Runtime error: the program asked to terminate in an unusual way" or something like that the first time I try to run it every day? (in case I have to live with it)
  17. Okay, good, and some more questions: What features does it have that are useful? What does features does it need that you CAN'T get an extension for? What makes it more secure? How quick is it to start? Is it easily configurable and easy to figure out how to use? Can you make mail rules to filter out those dumb chain letters and such? (i.e. people who you do not want to put on the "spam" list because they send useful stuff, but also send chain letters you don't want) What sort of extensions are essential? (sorry to grill you like this, it's just that outlook stinks. Every time I start it up it gives me a runtime error and I have to try again, and then it works...)
  18. Do you think they should be allowed to do this?
  19. Personally I think we really need to not pursue this 'goal', because, all of the satellite TV subscribers in the world will revolt if we try to take one out. Just kidding. But seriously, we already have jamming aircraft and carbon bombs that can knock out power stations, so why bother with satellites? US companies own a lot of them, so we'd be hurting ourselves. Our own military uses them. Why knock them out then? Oh yes, it's "belligerence," not "belligerance."
  20. We all knew that it would be more secure. But how good is its spam filter? And is it buggy? What makes Outlook so bad compared to it? (apart from security)
  21. Now that I'm using one Mozilla product (Firefox) I'd like to hear what's so good about Thunderbird, their e-mail client. Pros and cons, please. Outlook currently is not working anyways...
  22. Try googling it. www.solarviews.com That's where it came from.
  23. I believe you mount it on a tripod by the corner and it makes the line around the corner like that. Or something similar.
  24. So it does? Are there any other ones?
