  1. Right... couldn't they just mod the international section? Then you wouldn't have a mod running amok destroying the forums...
  2. Faf says he know French... so I suppose in our 1800 and some members there's probably quite a few people that can speak good spanish. Or even some spaniards themselves.
  3. There are self-reading ones, you're probably thinking of dosimeter badges.
  4. "speak enough english to communicate" doesn't always mean they can very well. Even if you don't want to make a big section of the forum for it, you could at least make one board for those who would like to speak some other language since they don't know English well. It could get rather confusing if they tried to explain in english but they couldn't. What I mean is that you have a bit with, say, a spanish mod and a french mod, and just let people go and post if they don't know how to put it in english.
  5. Woah. This will be fun arguing. How did you come to this "conclusion" of yours?
  6. But this is beyond the point. The question is, will it get implimented? I imagine it wouldn't be too hard to make the forum for it, but the hard part is finding the people to moderate it. It just takes some more organization to get it all together, not much, really.
  7. I thought he was just Jakiri now! Must be a habit, I'm always tempted to say MrL too. I'm not so sure about that. Never heard anyone say that. I thought it was all this stuff that had large amounts of mass... but I'm probably wrong...
  8. Oh. Last time I checked it was 4th.
  9. So it probably will work, it's just off the scale? Thanks.
  10. Or you can just cross your eyes.
  11. I doubt many people will know the answer to this question, but still, I'll ask. I recently acquired an OLD (32 years old) dosimeter from the Diefenbunker Canadian museum. It's an old quartz fiber type, 500 millirems. The problem is, I can't see the reading on it. It's not charged, but I thought that I would still be able to see the marker for radiation. So I don't know if it's broken or just off the scale, so I don't want to get a charger unless I know. So, the question is: On this dosimeter, will it just go off the scale or will the thing just break over 32 years, unopened?
  12. I bet he'll find one.
  13. I bet you could get an aibo to fiddle around with on ebay for cheap.
  14. I see. But it still doesn't look like a foundation to me. Lots of it looks like seperate pieces. To save people the trouble of buying 3d glasses, can't you put the pics side by side on your website and have people cross their eyes?
  15. oooh! That would be fun... an insulting furby! You could send it to people as a gift!
  16. I thought a science teacher would introduce himself as Mister. That's what I'm used to.
  17. ...considering that English is only the 4th most spoken language...
  18. Where did you come up with 90%?
  19. I think I get it now. You're more likely to get a losing door in the first place, so if you switch, you're more likely to win. Right?
  20. If you breathed pure oxygen for a while, and then held your breath, wouldn't you be able to hold it much longer?
  21. Right. But that was kind of mean.
  22. If you do not make a 3D separation layer, what do you do? And show us the ORIGINAL stereo pictures.
  23. Did anyone realize that he was copying the title from Fahrenheit 451? (But, of course, Ray Bradbury, the author of Fahrenheit 451, copied some of his books from others as well)
