  1. Dunno, they're only 51% paper.
  2. It's Van de Graaf. I don't see the logic in saying that the middle person would be fine. It depends. If one is standing on an insulator, than the electricity would keep going on down the line. If you are standing on a conductor, then you will discharge the electricity into the ground and nobody else will feel it (path of least resistance).
  3. And that someone could take and chop up with scissors. "Will you stop playing that game and come to dinner, Robby?!! Or I'll come over there and cut it in half!!!" "No, Mom, no! Please! Pleeeeeaasse?! Five more minutes!!"
  4. Frame limiters. The turbo button was a button on the computer, not the screen.
  5. If we can land on Mars, we can land on Titan too. It will be a challenge, but even if it crashes we might get good data from up close anyways, and that will be of great value. If we fail, it takes 7 years to get there, though. A long time before a replacement comes.
  6. I think BPHGravity is looking for a Darwin Award. I'd trust Dave and swansont. I mean, even little capacitors can give you a nasty shock, so I'd expect a larger one to give you a very very nasty shock (or maybe death) if you tried.
  7. Yes, but the murderer still should be killed. 3.5 billion for 1 is a pretty bad trade, and I think if you killed him the world (what was left if it) would cheer, not say "Murderer!" and put you in prison.
  8. Probably E-Bay. E-Bay sells everything.
  9. People like to talk about horrifying things a lot more than good things, so that's why you hardly hear about the good side of animal experimenting. Seriously though, you want your animal happy before he is tested on, since stress can cause such a reaction. If you didn't treat them right, that wouldn't be very representative of the human population, which typically treated OK.
  10. But he had Alzheimers.
  11. I believe in control panel there is a compatibility control with a slider, you can change it for different games designed for older os's. I'm not sure where, though.
  12. Mutation over a really long time, the good ones surviving, is evolution. So yes, mutation can be good or bad.
  13. I mean for life. If you're dead, you hardly suffer for your crimes. If you are stuck in prison, now that's punishment.
  14. The problem with capital punishment is that it is probably better to have then being confined in a cell for 50 years. And YT, doesn't the US constitution ban cruel and unusual punishment? Don't you think millions of people would revolt if you tried? Seriously, they would hate it. Prisoner's families would sue.
  15. And the fact that they need a lot more test subjects then there are inmates.
  16. That's the best suggestion.
  17. I agree. (on post 35)
  18. And I replied, there aren't enough of them.
  19. Another interesting thing it does (or at least red wine) is block some radiation. That's why if you see K-19 (the movie) it shows them giving red wine to the crew.
  20. HA! I don't have ANY caffeine!! (the reason being, I've seen people that drank 2 liters of Jolt in an hour)
  21. So would anyone desperate.
  22. That has NEVER happened to me. NEVER. The only problems I have are the programs, but that's not XP's fault. What type of computer do you have?
  23. I suppose so, because college kids are getting an education, so they should have intelligence.
