I might do that to my bike, and attach a battery charger. I could recharge batteries while getting excercise (no power bills, too!). Oh, an interesting fact: If you ate two cookies (120 calories) as your only energy source, and made a gererator attached to a bike, you could power a laptop for 5 hours!

One "beam" now being tested is a "pain beam." Mounted on a Humvee, you point it at the target and it causes INTENSE pain without actually damaging the target. Make it smaller and more powerful, and ow.

My theory is it would have appeared in 2080. Because that's when it was put there. And, if, in 2080, they get it, they can't decide not to send him back, because then it never would have arrived. Weird.

I took this "rocket science" class where we made a 2-stage rocket w/payload bay. On test day, mine shot up a couple hundred feet, then, as it staged, it turned horizontal (aaa!) and nearly went over the highway. Problem is, this kid went running for the booster, and ended up jumping on it. Another kid's went STRAIGHT up, and as it glided down it went right across the highway and into some trees. My dad once launched one, but the engine died a few feet off the pad, so it tipped horizontal, then re-ignited, and crashed into a hill.

A suggestion: Use a drogue, not a streamer, it'll slow the rocket down a bit and stabilize it. Maybe you should go to LDRS (Large Dangerous Rocket Ships) next year with it. I like watching them CATO!

I edit games to get more weapons. I had this demo but I wanted the real weapons (they were there, but not visible) so I just hacked it.

it doesn't need to be a URL! It can be a file name from your computer, it's loaded onto the server.

There actually was a New Scientist article about how they sense other roots and stuff and work away from them, they grow towards the place with most light, and whatnot. It said they must have more intelligence then stimulus responce! FFS?
