  1. too late! I'd disown him.
  2. Stop! You're making us look bad!
  3. The reason you can normally see the beam is the dust in the air. Normal lasers beams shouldn't, because it's not supposed to spread out.
  4. But then people will say, "hey! You're a parrotosexual!" Making them another sentient species would be hard. Especially with all the things you'd have to give them. They'd make unions and start rebellions since they're not let out of their cages.
  5. Perhaps they could get a permit and bypass it somehow. Then when someone complains they lose the permit and they have to do the 10 sec thing.
  6. It was tested on MythBusters. Over 45 days, they trained a fish to go through little holes in glass. The fish remembered. And, Jamie actually has trained a fish to ring a bell.
  7. :offtopic: My computer would NOT let it through. And you still didn't say anything about post #28.
  8. Nope. My computer has a firewall, and is networked to another computer (through which it gets internet) which ALSO has a firewall. And my firewall always complains when I send something to several people, it says it might be a virus.
  9. How would they get the other people to do it for them? The other people could just let it sit. Not solve the puzzles for all those people they're sending it to. Then it won't go.
  10. whoops, I just googled it. http://www.ph.unimelb.edu.au/staffresources/lecdem/mi7.htm I was wrong. I did have perfectly good reason to believe it, though.
  11. You have no evidence either, unless you tried it.
  12. And tell me, why do you pick me instead of the other two or three people that say it would stay upright? Let's see what happens when he makes it.
  13. Or, you make them solve a small puzzle that takes, say, 30 seconds. And be sure that the computer can't do it.
  14. No. The photon is the medium. Somehow. (I'm not the physicist here)
  15. I should say "classify," then. I bet all the ones out there are the answers to "Why are the outer planets' orbits perturbed like that?" I bet all the nuts out there will say, "Oh no! They will all come and destroy earth!" or something to that effect. Boy, all the science textbooks are obsolete now.
  16. It would just silently sit there, plotting to take over the world. I remember a movie where this blob took over an airliner. Yeah, neanderthal and homo erectus were near, and were living on a planet with conditions like each other, so they were likely to adapt similarly.
  17. I think YT is right. It's not the whole net force, it's the force of each spinning disc. They both have a stabilization effect. In this case, a negative and a positive is not zero.
  18. That makes it sound more like you just point and polarize. Actually, lasers light emits all the same frequency of photons. Not a bunch of different frequencies and colors, like white light. It's pure, so it hardly scatters. By the way, it's still a wave in a vaccuum. It doesn't change.
  19. There is no shuttle up there. But really, a tenth planet/near-planet? Surprises me they didn't see it sooner.
  20. I second that motion!!!!!!
  21. Considering the volume of e-mail sent, I think it would make lots of money. Off of the spammers. Imagine the reaction of people when they first made stamps!
  22. electrify water. There are books that have a detailed way of capturing the hydrogen and oxygen. Google up "electrolysis."
  23. So do you think you can impliment it? I'd like to see a section like that, though if you're upgrading to VB3 soon, I'd wait, it might have more support for multi-lingual things.
  24. How about this? It's true!
