I think that this is spiraling out of control. It looks more like it belongs in the debate forum. How about we get on topic ?
  3. A computer lets you make a precise pattern, and using a reference point, get lat and long so you can use GPS for accurate crop patterns.
  4. Did you do these yourself? I bet the big 'uns were made with groups of people that have a plan. Heck, they might be advanced enough to use GPS and computers to make the pattern perfect.
  5. Just a minute ago... 8:45 ET (US time) the forums crashed. What happened?
  6. That's what they mean.
  7. What causes hallucinations? I have them occasionaly in the middle of the night, when I am really tired. And how do drugs cause them?
  8. All right, let's see here... The plate directions can change. The predictions of where they will go is based on what they have done, but that's no guarantee. Plates are "swallowed," it's called "subduction." In an ocean trench, one plate hits another, and is sucked under. In a mid-ocean ridge, the opposite occurs, and volcanic activity spreads the sea floor out with more material.
  9. What does that have to do with science? Or do they come with a bunch of oxy-acetalyne torches, electronics, and stuff like that? I like the idea.
  10. I like the idea. I'm that pyrotechnic type, so include rockets and stuff. And make a section for older people that includes stuff that is a mite dangerous. Yes, I do have model rockets, a gyroscope, and a telescope I don't use.

  12. What programming language?
  13. It's like turning on a faucet for me. I just sit there and it comes out.
  14. 820 million, actually. The value WOULD drop! If it's not scarce, why pay so much for it?
  15. Sell them at high cost! They're "space diamonds!"
  16. I dunno, but they would need lots of cash. But they would get it back selling the diamonds.
  17. school!
  18. Did you read the article? He adapts to different situations, and makes his own phrases. Even if he was trained, he'd still be a genius.
  19. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/science/nature/3492919.stm According to astronomers, a large shrinking star crystallized, and turned to diamond. It is 1 * 10^34 carats, and about 50 light years away. What would happen if they sent a robotic space probe over (with extremely high speeds, over c) and took a chunk out? "Space Diamonds!" You could sell it for millions(no, billions) of dollars!
  20. Not much can do that, I suppose worms and starfish are famous for it, but humans really would have a tough time.
  21. Says who? Adapt your internal organs to perform at low temp! Plus, the temp at the bottom of the ocean is a nearly a constant, because so little happens to change it. A large animal well adapted could be HUGE , and from readings from microphones at the bottom of the ocean, there's a lot of big stuff we don't know about.
