  1. My favorite element is Unobtanium. Just kidding. Are these elements ones that exist for a tiny part of a second?
  2. getting beaned in the head
  3. Maybe you could explain why !
  4. If knowledge=pain, I'd be addicted to morphine right now. How can you channel blood and adrenaline to specific places?
  5. Not that I know of.
  6. drowning!
  7. No, they found it on BBC. I know some nice ones, they just don't shut up.
  8. :offtopic:!!! ...considering they're getting mad at me for it... My cat once stuck his nose in my dad's beer. He didn't get drunk, but he got bubbles up his nose, and started running around the house sneezing. It was hilarious.
  9. We'd have to find out if all the slow people have the same ISP. And the fast ones a seperate ISP.

    Light?

Neutrinoes have tiny mass, radiation has more. Though I suppose photons (if they did have mass) would be tiny as well. Well, it does, because if it is too massive, it will not fit between the molecules of the other object, and cannot get through, except in tiny amounts (like balloons)
  11. Steam is not more dense than water. I believe ice floats on water not because it is less dense, but because it's cold and wants to get out. Just kidding. Actually, the ice forms a "framework" of water molecules, which are interconnected, and makes it solid. However, this framework spaces the molecules out more than it would in the liquid form.

    Light?

And it transfers that momentum to the sail, right? If photons had mass, then as they passed through our cells, they would be like radiation, damaging them. If it had mass, windows probably would not let as much light through and would be very reflective. To understand the trapping of light in a black hole, imagine the idea that gravity is like a dip in spacetime. The photon hit's the dip and cannot get out, like a coin in one of those wishing well thingies that sends it spinning around the rim of the hole, until it vanishes and cannot escape.
  13. And, because your mass becomes infinite, it requires infinite energy to get there. And, if you are confused about the speed of light being the same, there's a thread with a good hearty argument about it somewhere.
  14. Either that or the phone just makes their voice sound funny.
  15. It is slower. Even getting to this thread it was. Maybe it's all the new users?
  16. A small opening in the bone.
  17. I think that you ponder quite interesting topics. Really, I bet it's because they do all the voice training to sing well, so you skip the accent. You have to sing it well and clearly, so you don't want that annoying accent in there.
  18. prohibition
  19. Don't spam too much, and do what the mods say, or they'll get mad. Oh yes, if you feel like arguing, go in the debate forum. It's fun. Post your heart out. :edit: :nabla: He means, use them in moderation. :nabla:

  21. Sodium would burn/explode, and so I doubt that it's possible. I don't think you can make sodium compressing hydrogen and sodium something (I forgot the rest of the name). Unless the means you were being sarcastic, I wouldn't know.
  22. Hello. Have fun!
  23. prince charles
  24. It would behoove you to pay attention in class. (help you)
