  1. Unless they (the string and shelvles) are put on HGTV or something.
  2. Yes, that's what he means.
  3. So as soon as he does his demonstration, we can all laugh when we see little propellor blades at the bottom.
  4. In fact, my brain is smart enough to fix an image when I am upside down or on my side. I don't have problems reading or writing that way. In fact, it is hard for me to write in italic by angling the paper, because I automatically change my writing to fix it. Sayo, that's true, I've seen a TV program about it and people could play catch with inversion goggles on (after a month wearing them).
  5. Or perhaps a string.
  6. What do you think of this? Nutty guy!
  7. Definitely. Outside the pipe, it might just bend it.
  8. Bravo, bravo! Encore!
  9. 22,300 miles. 24 hours.
  10. That is sad. They should say, "the reason I don't do drugs is because everyone says they'll roast my brain and then have a fiesta with the remnants."
  11. It didn't dissapear. They just were saying, "Where did it GO?!!!"
  12. That's why illegal immigrants are called "illegal aliens". Maybe they should paint themselves green to scare Immigration.
  13. 1)They did use ion propulsion on one of those probes. It worked, but not that way. 2)Unless they are made of metal, nothing would happen. People with pacemakers would have some problems, though. 3) They thought about that in Apollo. They quarantined the crew for several weeks, in case they brought something back. Nothing did.
  14. What happens if it is waterproof... a submarine with a spectrometer, and he knows how to use it!
  15. Or, even better, call it the Doppler effect.
  16. Do they have male sheep eggs there?
  17. No, hubble's orbit is 400 miles, that orbit takes 22.300.
  18. Is the coverage from Mission Control?
  19. You can't. In case you haven't noticed, we don't have tourists from the future around here.
  20. The earth's spin is slowing down, days used to be (millions of years) about 20 minutes shorter.
  21. If they inject it by chance (just shooting it at random) I doubt we could get sick easily at all. They would have a tiny chance of reproducing.
  22. Even if it was in a high inclination orbit, it still passes the equator and goes to the other pole. You will have periods of Earth being in the way. That is what confuses me.
  23. You are making sweeping generalizations. All sweeping generalizations are wrong.
  24. Or many other people... Most either go SPLATT! or whoops! Missed! Once NASA even confused metric with US, that made for a big problem.
