How come these rights only apply to humans? It's a little convenient don't you think? Why shouldnt we try to save every form of life if we can. Morals are not absolute. We pick and choose which morals apply to whom all the time. Let's face it...morals exist because more than one human exists. If I was the only person alive only that opinion would matter. Morality in itself is flawed. No one can make a perfect case for anything because it doesn't exist. This is the only thing that can be concluded. I don't think I have any inherent rights as a human, but I don't like pain, and I am not going to allow others to cause me pain. Maybe the next guy beside feels the same. We make an agreement not to cause each other pain and make a punishment as to reinforce the idea, since we are not perfect it happens we break deals. Maybe it gets pick up by others, and we make it a general rule. We know not everyone will follow it. It's our nature. We are trying to create something that doesn't equally exist everywhere. My point, iife isn't perfect, we are screwed up creatures, and we have to live with that. When it comes to the debate of abortion, atleast leave out the inherent rights crap. There is metaphorically no grounds for it to stand. SO long as we can twist ideas and words, this debate will go on forever. While kids are being born into unwanted families. You can prove that abortion can save people from pain, but you can prove it does the opposite. What has worked is that so long as someone is not being hurt we can live together, so long as we have freedom and choice within boundries we are not at each other throats the majority of time, and that everything is F$*$ing skewed. I will say that that no one is going to tell me what to do to my body. If a women makes the choice to abort a fetus for whatever reason, that's not my place to say otherwise regardless of what I view morality as being. If you don't like abortion don't do it yourself.

I've been thinking a lot about this lately....don't ask why. I don't know if you can answer it, but here it goes. I was half out of it at my GF's place because I couldn't sleep the night before and I was moving this polished metal cube she had. I was thinking....really how is this possible? How is time possible how is movement possible so I thought about it in the smallest terms possible. You got space or points you have matter of the smalles kind occupying that point...now it has lets say it has points all around it. Are these points connected? or are they connected by something. Like: O-----O or O O Where a particle jumps over? Is that like maybe why quantum mechanics allows time to exist in the sense that manybe the points were never ment to connect but due to the odd behaviour some particles jumped and allowed for time and movement and in that case allowed physics to evolve further? I have very laymen understanding of physics so...be easy on me but hard on what i say.

I would think communications has been largely affected by particle physics. Energy. I think this one will be one of the biggest because of what it will allow us to do for other things. Technology, AI and computing. You could have discoveries that just add new information to existing knowledge but doesn't drastically need change inthe technology that utilizies it. Like it either gives it new options or more efficiency. You can make a signal travel farther by eliminating attenuation...or something Then you can have new discoveries that changes the actual way of looking at physics. Information where technology needs to be adapted to it. I am pretty sure we thought we would have car's running on nuclear fuel by now, or alteast protoyped. Reading up on it though apparently getting the shielding correct would make a car weight far too much. I am sure no car company want to adhere to the strict standards that would need to apply to it either, you have a gas leak...fine...you have a nuclear leak...bad very bad. You can't have just anyone on the line building these things anymore, lines people who assemble the cars would need working knowledge of physics. No offense I've work in plants...not every one of those guys are up to the task.

I am glad you see that you know what to Look for now in guy...you have to be tough the first while in a relationship and be skeptical. It seem harsh but, people get side tracked by emotion, and don't look at things clearly. Love will come naturally.

I am not going to go professional...just fo fun if I do it. Amatuer fights at most. I've just always had this fascination with martial arts since I was like 8. yeah I personally find it sad that people who compete use drugs when they are illegal in the sport Lots of fighters are getting caught. A few people think like GSP is roiding. Lesnar would be suspect...but he claims he doesn't. Who know...it's dangerous to all the fighters so I don't support. If you do it for yourself to get bigger...that's up to you, but if you are in an organization where it's not allows and you do it anyways...I think that's wrong. We are way off-topic now though. we should stop.

There is a 65- 70 year old in my gym that does 2 plates and a bit...roughly like 250 a couple of times without struggle. Maybe he does roids...(big guy for an old guy...had to be like 6'7 210 and lean) I don't want anything I can't gain through hard work. Maybe van damme did cheat, and use stuff. If I can't do it naturally, I just don't want it. then I am happy at being mediocre. The whole reason I am doing it is so I can do Mixed Martial Arts. Not to look good, and there is NO WAY I want to be like arnold... That guy is freak, his bicep muscle is bigger than my head....TOTALLY not what I want. It's probably the new generation, and supplements is probably the crude start to bioengineering, buttttt I can't nor want to do it. It's not part of who I am. If I get stronger I want it to be done from my own hard work. Yes that is silly I know, becuase in the end it doesnt really mean anything....it's either you get bigger and stronger or you don't. I just like to hold on to the old belief. I like it.

I am 25 actually, a year younger than you, but obviously more experienced with good relationships because I don't take crap from people. I've had a tough life, I've gone through hell most people would be scarred for life. I am being harsh because that's what you need. READ what you are typing...SERIOUSLY I'll point out the main points. You just met the man. He's twice your age, he's the first guy to really treat you nicely in a while, something you want, and you want that to be enough...which it is obvious is not or you wouldn't keep coming back now would you? He has a drinking problem, everyone has problems, he's asked you to marry him...out of love or desperation. Define love, because I certainly don't see it as you state it. Two people who have been through thick and thin for along time together and still can say that they truely love each other...Thats LOVE. I am giving you high-school advice because you have puppy love my dear. Your inference is mis-placed. I am just good at judging people so I give them advice as I see it. You don't have to take it! I don't think you possible have the ability to see through this rationally so I am giving it to you as straight as possible. Sorry! I wish i could say it nicer, but nicer isn not going to help him or you.I generally care because you could both be ruining your lives...You need to really look at your situation for what it is...if you do, you might find that you are coming to the same conclusion I am.

Sweet thanks Mokele. Don't know where my genetics lie...but o far I've been gaining pretty well. My brother has good genetics for it too so maybe....seems like he got more from my fatherside, where I got from my mother's side...highly intelligent family...but rich and probably not very active...I don't seem to follow that....hopefully that part I get from my father! And suga I ralther not do steroids or anything like that. The most I'll do is take a protien shake after a workout. I think I'll start doing. I don't want to be arnold just like van damme -ish. If I can achieve that I should be in good shape to get into MMA then. I'll need ridiculous strength with my back issues.

ydoaPs - did you have a pengiun Avatar back in the day? You are definitely cool!

That's who I forgot! Klaynos is the man too. "PHILOSOPHY AND YOUR RANDOM THOUGHTS ARE NOT SCIENCE DO NOT POST THEM AS SUCH" I try to live by this but even I fall prey to this...probably why I am not cool
-
sweet becuase I've read a few book thinking they were correctly only to find out the idea are dated and are not relevant.

No no no! ok yeah I want to be stronger than him (I am not that far behind) I just want to when we go together to the gym that I do more than him. I won't say a word when I do. But my revenge will be that. When we do reps he wont be able to do that higher last rep than me that's all. So when he does try to show off it will be impossible for him not to realize how ridiculous it is to state such things. My arnold pose...I dont want to get much bigger than this maybe A little bigger, but like good definition. Inow - Thnaks for the advice, Yeah I was thinking higher reps would be the way to go. I thin my brother is now more of a powerlifter as in most his reps are 1-3. I think his approach is limited. So I think I have a chance. I do this with most exercises and I do opposite muscle groups like you said. first rep 10 second 8 third 6 last 4 Or I dont have the fourth and do 8,6,4 I am thinking though that might be too low of reps. You guys are more the expert on these things so let me know.

You guys need to help me....This is bigger then me and you, this is for all the nerdy types who have ben pushed around by the jocks. I love weightlifting been doing it for years semi-serious because I didn't think I could ever bench press pass 200 pounds...Now I can bench press free weight 250-260ibs. I use 70 and 80 pound dumbbells for press as well....which is really impressive for someone like me. My brother is nice but an arrogant jock...I am kinda a hybrid. I was always into sports, martial arts, highschool got more into science... ANYWAYS. My brother is one of those overbearing people that constantly talk about how "huge" he is. He doesn't do much more than me. Lower reps with a bit higher weight...it's kind ridiculousness. He takes like nano vapour and all that shit... I don't want to take that...the most I will do is make a protein shake for myself, if anyone could tell me what would be a good shake to use AND How does muscles exactly work? How do they grow, how do the rip, heal, how can I get the maximum strength per mass. As well I could lose a few pounds (200ibs -> 185ish)..are there supplements that actually work? I am find doing it the natural way if that's best but if there is something that speed it up that would be cool. When I get to the point where I am stronger than him, I'll come back and let you know all the details....this time to get revenge!!!!!

Sorry Inow, you are correct. I know my generalizations go too far...it happens quite a bit. I've always been that person that women seem comfortable talking about their problem with...and I always get the same thing...it get's trying and it annoys me because they basically use me to get their justification for there actions. "My boyfriends an asshole he plays video games and ignores me" me - so dump him "Oh but he can be nice sometimes..." me - I am going to strangle you *btw warning 95 % of what I say is light humour, Don't take it seriously. Look what group I'm in...I frigging created it that's how loopy I AM. > join us!

I am reading the book "The brain that changes itself" Which is basically around the concept of Neural Plasticity. I was wondering the merits of this idea since I think the book was produced by a non-neurologist psychiatric guy. Is the Brain really plastic (not made of, of course)?

Women are pathetic.... "I don't know why I fall for losers" then "I know he drinks heavily, but I feel bad for him" It's not going to work get over it! (sorry I am usually sympathic but that doesn't work, they just go back to making stupid decisions)

Back in the day In My Memory was like all that and bag of chips with her vegan crusades. AzurePhoniex or something was popular too. People with boobles and brains usually are...we can't deny this. ummm...pretty much all the admins and moderators. Phi for all- damn his frigging puns! Sayonara - Reminds me of anime with the name being japanese. Cap'n - though he seemed more active before I can back. Bascule - with his technological singluarity stuff. (not a mod yet? my god....) YT Insane Alien - in his own way Pangloss - politics. Tons...probably all the regulars that hang out at IRC...

...I just thought you were being a realist. ooops!

Speak for your self man....that's like my hobby. *plays with buttons* Scientist - "Who are you?" Me - "Oh I just saw the building, thought I'd come by see what you were up to...what is this?" Scientist - "Particle accelerator...it;s.." *cuts off scientist* Me' "Cooooollllll...what happens if turn this knob?" Scientist- "young man, do you understand....WAIT ARE YOU CRAZY!" Me- "hmmm...fancy stufffffff!" *pushes more buttons* Me- "Why is there a siren going off?." That problem in CERN....on my holidays...yeah...

New process liberates hydrogen and oxygen from water using heat and light

It sounds like it's one of the most simplistic things to do...seperating a molecule lol obviously it's not. What is the yield or effiency of the method on a large scale....and would it be expensive to produce using the method? pure speculation based on information of course...what do you guys think ------------ p.s. Bascule, just got (understood lol) your quote in your sig,,,,I like it *thumbs up* -
Well don't pick fights with people who are that big. That's what I meant by having honour. If two willing contestants want to duke it out fine....the bigger guy won't hit you unless you give him a reason to...he has honour...a silly notion but I think would work well. And just because some is bigger than you doesn't totally mean they will lose. Size matter but lets say you have a guy at 6'3 230 vs a guy at 6'0 180...but the guy at 180 practiced mixed martial arts his whole life, and has full contact experience (whom is actually well skilled as well, just having experience isn't an indicator of a good fighter)....and the other guy hasn't fault in his life.... trust me...the bigger guy is going down. Karate isn't the best alone I should of mentioned that...really a person should be well versed in all aspects of combat, and then have practical experience as well, in as close to realistic combat as possible. It's true your way is probably best, but I like combat....can'thelp it...therefore my reason for posting the idea.

What group would want this so badly that they could convince Obama crew to broaden domestic spying? What happen to all the talk about constitutional rights? Was he not a civil rights lawyer who taught constitutional law? I was confused by this the first time he voted for it, now he's expanding it?

See this is why I wish a society would be heavily influenced by honour and hand to hand combat. You have a dispute? Duke it out, may the better man win. one on one, when the fight is over it's over. I understand that we are primitive beings so I mean living in zero violence society is improbable. Now it's who can gather enough people to gang up on one person, or who has the bigger faster weapon.... There is no beauty in that. hand to hand combat though....it's art I'll promote it as much as I can in hope it might actually change peoples minds....doubt it will though.
