It gives me amazing reaction time, I can't sleep on it or get tired, and I am probably more intelligent (Not an amazing feat but...), and oppose to alcohol it makes me more sociable according to many people I know, and that comes alot from someone like me. To me it's like being "in the zone" all the frickin time. I am far more relaxed so I am not as anxious as I usually am, which means I make more rational decisions. The only thing I get paranoid is getting caught. We all are different though. I just don't see it. Call me close-minded but it's the one of the very few issues I am pretty stuck in my way about. So that's the last post in this thread for me, and I love you all! (heterosexual way of course).

But thats not the case, that's the problem of people misinterepting, not everything that is bad for you is illegal, and for something that was illegal and somehow became legal doesn't make it any less harmful. The difference is that the overall people have the choice to do them or not. I don't say "well Aspirin is not illegal therefore it's safe and I can take 10 a day" thats just irrational. Even if it were made legal or even decriminalized, the government is not hopeless to stop idiots who ruin other peoples lives. They could certain increase the penalty for commiting acts under the influence. What worries me more is that people can drink and drive, kill someone and get of in a year or so, yet someone who carries drugs can get 5+ years in prison. Again though that's just my opinion, and I can see where your coming from. alot of my view rely on certain aspects that most others wouldn't agree, and we would be living in a different world.

Yeah but it's not nearly on the same level. Anything can be addictive otherwise. I smoke cigerettes, those in themselves are addictive. I drink too much Cola, I am not really addicted to it, I am addict to the affect it has on me. I wouldn't label cola as an inherently addictive product. Overall the Mary jane is not much worse then booze.
-
It's not addictive by itself. It no different than alcoholic beverages. you have the same risk, yet the world isn't in a state of anarchy. The only reason it is illegal is because it always has been.

Don't give up! There is still hope my friend! My first one post wasn't interesting, but my second on the otherhand was I think a reply to Phi for all. He was so obviously jealous of my cool alias! http://www.scienceforums.net/forum/showthread.php?p=280251#post280251 I realize I don't take much seriously. p.s. I've made my dumbest mistake yet. If anyone is wondering why ttfn sfn thread was revived...I was trying to copy multiple things at once but without losing the original copies...forgot I was in an old thread...sorry.

I don't know, that's what I was told they were. http://www.newgrip.com/calluses.html You get them just under your fingers where the palm starts, it's just like thicker skin. Some people don't like them, appearence wise, or the feel.
-
That's the worst thing I've ever seen...I'm Shocked.

I was wondering on a concept thats probably been discussed before but I can't find it the search. Is it possible to make material (on the scale of average day material) similiar to particle bombardment (Not exactly but...). If you have the control, and the technology, could you fuse and condense matter of a specific element to a specific point and allow it to grow from that point? And even more advance procedures that would allow you to make the perfect structure? And lastly could you yield enough material to even make it worth while?

Or you can click the persons name and a drop down menu shows up, click the option "Send a private message to ...."

Damn it ParanoiA! I said I don't use them . Calluses are useful outside the weightlifting area. Mine were practically gone, till I got them back at work. I could grate cheese with these hands.
-
If you have like sensitive hands you might want to get gloves with them (If you choose the metallic kind like the picture you have) because it's rough on the skin till you get calasises (you know that rough skin) I prefer getting the calasis, but your hands feel a bit raw for the first week or two.

You too my good friend!!! May the spirit (Whiskey) of holiday bring happy times!

I'm quite sure they protest those other games, I think this sort of thing makes news though. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Video_game_controversy More specifically http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Video_game_controversy#Criticism_from_religious_organizations

lol, your so going to get struck by lightning. Then as soon as you get up, bam! struck again. As your lying their unable to move, in the clouds you'll notice a message being formed: Who's down now pansy!

Well some are built in weights, mostly the rubber and concrete/sand types. The attachable kind sand and stuff is ok, just bulky. My opinion of course, why don't you just try a few and see what you like. Go to some fitness store.

Cola...one of my many weaknesses.

Damn it! alright but the moon doesn't have an atomphere (by claim of flag), For it to be semi-effective you need a good amount of the gases it can react with, right? Basically they won't work as effectively as it does on earth. Wouldn't a thermite reaction need oxygen to present in the initial stage? I gathered that Thermite is FeO +Mg or Al +Mg mixture, and that the combustion (or whatever other technical term is approperiate) starts with the Mg.
-
The Magnesium reaction needs oxygen..... Mg + O2 --> 2 MgO 3 Mg + N2 --> Mg3N2

Metallic!!!! and free wieght, That way you can add more wieght to it. The others are so limited, you have to buy like 16 of them to get a decent array of weight. Trust me You'll progress alot if you keep to it, and you'll be kicking yourself, there are alot of exercises you can do with dumbbells.

I guess I have an addictive personality...I don't know if it's tolerence though. I am a very anxious person in general. I think that has a large part in my addiction(s).

Is this the same techinque with the beetle? http://dsc.discovery.com/news/2006/06/14/beetle_tec.html?category=technology Something to do with hydrophobic *other technical mumbo jumbo* stuff.

Would'nt that mean that your experiences defines you more than your biological make-up? I probably don't have an original cell on me now. In the future genetically engineering probably will give us the ability to manipulate many aspects of ourselves. At that point would we still be "me" if that were to happen? I guess though as it stands now genetic disposition does play a large role in our tendency to be a certian way. I don't think that will hold forever, So I still say that my experience define me as who I am (i.e. a being).

With the Pyramid power, they should be able to test under the assumption that the power affects matter in some physical way. If it doesn't, and we can't sense or interact with it, kinda makes it pointless to even try.
