I thought Gravity is created by the distortion of spacetime? Like the more massive the object the more warped spacetime becomes, having a stronger gravitational affect?

I had the same problem. I had to let go that it's just a system. 0.999... if expressed with infinite decimals would never reach 1, kind of limiting the system. I think it's intuitive that things have to end therefore you would expect the expression to end, I guess.

Or: This heavily mutated person (like from a horror film) in a black cloak hunching and staring at me as I am sleeping, waking up to try and kill it, which it doesn't die and I feel bad for it because it has this expression of sadness so we go to my living room area and watch TV.. Well the "N" word has a way stronger connotation of hate then "Cracker". I don't think it's approperiate at all, regardless of who says it. The crowd's reaction was perfect in my opinion, just leaving. The media and typically those in show business are all about the political games and such. They over-hype anything that can bring in $$$. What bothered me was the comment Jamie Foxx said (On FOX I think), It just perpuates the divide amoungs white and black people. Saying basically that he didn't know what typreof black people where there but he would of jumped on stage and beat him up. Come on...

I think the guilt should come more from the fact, if anything, that N.A. proudly represents itself as a society that treats it's citizens as equals (Your not black, white, hispanic, asian, your American or a Canadian) which isn't apparent.

Maybe not justified, but there is nothing wrong with feeling bad about what happened. The "I didn't do it, so it's not my problem." is far worse. Life would be pretty easy if people generally thought that, which I don't think people ultimately do, it's "cold" and "inhumane", which makes me think people just believe that "white guilt" seems like "I am responsible". It's not really the issue since your not going to watch someone burn to death while your holding a bucket of water just because you didn't do it.

I didn't know what it was till like 3 months ago. I've always felt that blogs are egocentric(...I dont know...like an online diary, and seemed contradictive) so I never really tried, I signed up once but couldn't think of anything to write that someone else would care to read. I have expertise in...well nothing. I can slightly understand what it must be like though, day in and day out the same questions over and over and over and over again, You probably even have to find 5 different way to explain the same thing because what works for one guy doesn't work for the other. I am actually quite amazed at how patient the experts are here. I don't think this place is bad at all for rudeness, but I guess this type of place attracts individuals with a superiority complex at some point, It's no Billy- Bob's Guns and Cool Stuff Forums.

A person should be able to ask any damn question, or say any mundane thing he/she wants. If they ask a "stupid" question or present a "stupid" idea they should get ignored, thus the only way to get attention is to formulate a good post, which makes it completely pointless whether or not some deserves or to what criteria one can be called an idiot. I still think ruling with an Iron Fist (Temp Ban style) would work the best though lol. The probablity that everyone will get along, no one getting offended, etc is slim. Thats why I say just ignore it. The Mods can't catch everything, Even if they cracked down on people then you have the problem of "I am being oppressed!", conversations will be so focused and controlled they won't be fun.
