Well one thing that is different from most companies is the extensive knowledge behind the product. The average person has no idea how certian elements affect them, unlike say...car companies. You buy a vehicle from a dealer, you can test drive it, and the basic understanding of how a good car should be is not so difficult, except maybe the metallurgical aspect of it. Even then it's just a car, Unless your from the 60's your probably not into mass experimentation. When I was 18 I use to work for a pharmacy (Delievery Techologist [so bad...]). I personally knew quite a bit about it (and had no objection to experimenation either) because of my condition, and alot of the time I would hear, hey try this, it's new. I didn't feel like they were putting my best interest first so, I looked it up. At best though my medication was 40$ a refill. Now seeing the prices of some of the medication that the elderly people, and really sick people had, was one of the biggest shocks I've seen. Some guy would come in having to pay 1000$ per month, maybe even bi-weekly, completely uncovered...They had no choice(at least at that time). I personally wouldn't say that's corrupt, but I'd have a hard time sleeping at night.

Yeah that's it, perfect! thank you. Thermodynamics...*shudders*, I guess I should read into that.

That was such an underrated movie. I definitely agree, good ending. My favorite would be The Chinese connection; Bruce Lee and the guy in the locker room/The Boss. If anime counts, there are hundreds I could think of that are just sweet.

No. Well I should of said Iron sorry. I had steel on the mind. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ferrite_%28iron%29 In pure iron, ferrite is stable below 910°C. Above this temperature the face-centered cubic form of iron, austenite (gamma-iron) is stable. Above 1390°C, up to the melting point at 1534°C, the body-centred cubic crystal structure is again the more stable form (delta-iron). Structure FCC-->BCC Phase Austentite--->Delta Iron (eek) I guess the Phase is irrelvant...I just want to know what causes a cystalline structure to change.

I dont know that seems more complex, this is how I understood it. http://www.physicspost.com/articles.php?articleId=173&page=3

Well by losing, I mean the belief that it's should be done by now, or be further from a progress point of view. It's too bad they can't show the techniques used, that would be interesting. You have to admit though the general public is left out from alot, probably more then it should. The government is saying it's doing it for the people, yet they tell them nothing at all, so I mean they should expect some resentiment when things don't go as planned.

I should know this really for the field I am in but since I am still a student, and we don't really cover it well, I have a question. Take Steel (Iron/Carbon), When it's brought to a temperature of "A" or so it changes phase. What phase, doesn't really matter I just know that at certian phases the structure of the metal atoms changes from like BCC, FCC and HCP to another. I was wondering what sets those states? Like is it an specfic energy level where the structure changes to HCP, or whatever? I am not making sense probably but I am sure one of you will get it.

Pffft! I am not scared of him.... O_O' /me Runs away! Ok here I'll try to be....that K-Fed Guy. *puts on over used beat* I am a good rapper. I run like a snapper. Yeah Boy-ee. I make no real sense. because I am on a fence. Break it down! /me imitates white boy dance. wow spot on.

Why don't they just add biometric fingerprint scanners plus codes (changed every hour!..ok no) to the memory card storage comparment. That shouldn't be too techy for anyone to run.

I am not sure exactly (So don't shoot me if I am wrong) but weren't those wars alittle more even handed. The US military is top notch with lots of military technologies/information. I am sure that helped out, but I guess on the other hand it's different warfare as well. Maybe thats a(small)part of the reason people are disliking the war, I don't think people like the fact that we(axis of good) are losing, pure for the fact of losing.

DAMN IT!!! (Phi: I got it now.)

It's not like you really need it, your posts are so profound that each of your posts counts as 3.

Did anyone catch the speeches they gave? They never looked at each other while talking about each other (Bush,Rumsfeld, Gates). That seemed odd. Politics is getting wierder.

Finally I get what the squiggly line was...It's so obvious now...I thought it was based on a timeline.

I am just wondering is the process (Birth) the same for all organisms to an extent? Is there a stage that would make a human similiar to like say a monkey or whatever(minus DNA and such)? If there is no vagueness at all I would find unfair to consider anything to be anything untill certian characteristics emerge. Like for example the very first biological step in a new being is already incapculated (Don't know if that's the right word) with a unique aspect (like DNA) yet there are sigificant differences between the first and final step. I couldn't distinguish what stage would objectively be considered the human transformation, it's already has aspects from the first moment that can be recongizable to be human, if that were true. So I would have to go with YT on this one and say Nearly, but vote "No" based on myself created criteria which makes a human, because I can't say it is or isn't.

I think some people are taking this thread too seriously. Watch some George Carlin and Bill Hicks, you'll get the idea. -
You don't even know if I am good though...I hate making stuff for people if they take it out of kindness, if it sucks say so and don't use it. If all that negativity didn't turn you off just tell me what you want and I'll try and do it, it will keep me sane for a while, when I have nothing to do. Something, somewhat relavent I did out of pure boredom. http://home.cogeco.ca/~jdebruijn/images/signature1.jpg [Mr.Burns voice] Excellent.

Well you SO deserve it! BTW can I make a new logo, with more than one color (and maybe add another dimension, by illusion of course)...You don't have to use it...wait I'll just make it and post it here so you can shut me down... P.S. Sayonara! Damn you! - I'll find your weakness.. >_>

Pointless rant on the Pussification of the American Male

I work in a foundry, It's not so much what the stereotypical image of a foundry (especially not the simpsons version "hot stuff comin through!"). My mother was a radical feminist for like 5 years before she "slowed" down, I guess it rubbed off on me a little, so I am quite polite, I help clean the dishes at gathering (the only guy that does, besides my brother sometimes),etc, but on the other hand I like MMA, weightlifting, whiskey, *mutters* Adult films *mutters* and all the other fun "manly" things (except...football/hockey/basketball/baseball). I've never really cared for how one acts based on their sex. There are traits I dislike though. -

Ha George Carlin! -
From the advice thread. ^Nomination^ ...well I doubt someone needs that much group acceptance, that they will reverse their ways to have one of their posts "voted" on to be the "best".

No, I haven't but I am pretty sure the first one for commerical use will be more expensive then a small house. I wouldn't feel to bad for buying a 2D picture TV.
