  1. Very true. I don't particularly think it's a waste, under the premises that the US gets something out of this war (The "I told you so"), I was just merely commenting that spending that money solely to get Saddam out of Iraq is a waste. I am not an avid fan of war. Something had to be done though, although it may have not worked out perfectly to plan and they take longer then anyone wants, but thats expected. Alot of time I hear grief in Canada about the war, but we'd do the same if someone attacked us (*mumbles* may not change our reason 5 different times..), I'd agree with them that the US TV/Politics/power can make the US look very egotistical, but that never justified the attacks. The mannerism within US Politics seems to make people cringe, Stay the course, Support the troops, The war on terror is real, etc, the whole plain, simple, black and white picture that's not always the case making look like the US is overlooking or simplifying the situation. Ultimately people should see the problem with recent events. They may not agree with the militaristic approach but they can't just let it go like there is no problem. So...basically I think Iraq was "winnable" from the global perspective, if everyone helped out, or put as much effort into it as possible, and for the US to stop believing it can affectively solve the worlds problems. If the war is lost, I think it's more a loss at the concept of unity, and obsession with geographical borders than, terrorism (If that's still the reason ).
  2. Whomever is writting has a very elegant writting style, I'll read more, comment later.
  3. Even if someone considers the fact taking out Saddam was victory, there is the point that it took X amount of dollars to do it...
  4. What is the numberical representation of Forty-two? "The Pen is Mighter" for 300 Alex.
  5. For the love of God why would she do that? She can't understand the concept of a pen let alone....everything else...
  6. I think they have like a international policy that doesn't allow that. I remember a debate about it like a year ago. OT Personally I think it was just rushed you know, considering the improvement of technology over the years I guess it wasn't being utilized to it fullest potential, where strength in numbers become more obsolete. I admit though I know nothing about how the miltary strategies and such, but it does seem to the same style of fighting as all previous wars.
  7. Woohoo. I can contunue my reign of annoyance terror!
  8. You people don't know the true meaning of "cold" or "snow".

Maybe a new direction in counter-nuclear weaponry needs some more attention. I really don't want countries to start bombing the crap out of NA, and I support the action to stop it at all cost. I don't think the problem is with Iran having nuclear weapons, it's the fact that with having nuclear weapons comes rules, if your not willing to follow them prior to making them, why would any country allow it? Even if we can control the visible creations of these technologies that go on around the world eventually someone will start doing it in secert, so for me, my first statement is what concerns me the most in the long run.
  11. Canada was a strong liberial voting country, untill recently. PM Harper who was the leader of the Conservative Party (I guess best described as a slighty more left Republican) got in by minority vote (I can explain that further if you need to). Our relationship before with U.S. wasn't very strong but over the past few months there has been quite a few meetings between Bush and Harper. On a side note though not much really changed, we got involved in Afganistan, but thats about it, we haven't really agreed to do much else with the US, hense the quotations on "increased" relationship.
  12. I laugh so hard when shows poke fun of Canada, it's done so beautifully. It's just wierd having such an odd relationship. It's like having a roommate who you never talk to...
  13. I was wondering what the majority of you folks think about the "increased" relationship with PM Harper and President Bush? Do Americans really care at all? Is it a big thing or just...Oh gee Canada! Lovely!...
  14. You didn't have to brand us though! > *rubs shoulder*
  15. Man if I am still here, you shouldn't feel bad at all . If people are offended then that's generally their problem, though if your intentions are clearly evil thats a different ball game. Everyone takes the internet seriously at times, and has fits. Personally people hating me would be all the more reason to stay. Popularity is over-rated. Sidenote: [narrated voice] GutZ has never been popular and finds way to justify his bias views in various ways. [/narrated voice]

They will send their special agent in. Simons, Richard Simons. Offending Country: "For the love of God, Noooo!" Simons: "Come people lift those knees, Thats right, feel the burn". I really don't understand the point of the UN. It's suppose to govern the global aspect of everything based on the agreement of all countries. The only friggin time they will agree if its already peaceful! Practically every other scenerio you will have a few disagreeing, which makes it all very frickin pointless. From Wiki "The UN was founded after the end of World War II by the victorious allied powers with the hope that it would act to prevent and intervene in conflicts between nations and make future wars impossible or limited." Working out just fine.... p.s. I might be a bit baised.
  17. Is he a Bill Hicks fan?
  18. I did Weightlifting for a year, I ate alot more food with protein as well. I gained alot of weight, from 190 to 220. I did no cardio, and I used alot of lower reps with more wieght while training. So naturally I did gain alot if muscle for my genetic background and time. I also gained fat because weightlifting doesn't burn as much fat as cardiovascular activities. There is one thing you should look at. Do you have any goals, like for me I wanted to max bench 250ibs (which I can probably do now...maybe, 200- 220 for sure). For me it was more important to build muscle, but I notice as the time went on I need to start lossing wieght too. Now I plan to do to some cardio with hiit training. http://www.askmen.com/sports/bodybuilding_100/135_fitness_tip.html It been around for a while. Of course you could do higher reps less weight for a while with cardio also. You have to work it all out so you don't burn out your muscles though. You really have to look into it, don't do what I did and just jump into it. Rest is a large part of gaining muscles. It's best to find someone with experience and ask them if they would help you start up. As for a diet, I am not really sure. I'd rather work off the extra fat than lacking elements that I need to have proper growth. I would guess finding a perfect balance would be difficult.
  19. Very much so, I'd like all the information I can get, I get so frustrated not know how the universe works. I have to look up some of this planck units (probably the smallest measurement possible from what I read) to understand better, but I'll get it all eventually.
  20. Alrighty, thanks.
  21. hmmm, ok I think I understand that. I guess I was thinking as well that maybe decay had some relationship with the universe (in a sense, I don't know how to properly word it) so during an earlier time the "heavier" particles would not decay, then over time they would, given that the conditions were there to allow it. But like you said, it has nothing to do with the production. I don't know how you guys do it, so much information, I'd go loony.
  22. Oh God! that's disturbing....I feel sorry for the kid. *shudders*
  23. haha, I would of believed you!
  24. Oh there are tau quarks? I thought they were elementry particles. It hard rememebering all the combinations. Thank-you very much 5614, all the generation stuff makes sense now. and of course thanks to severian for the inital reply, and YT for the compliment on 5614 post, you modivate people well.
