Of course there are people saying that things don't work, people still believe homeopathic medicine is as good or better than traditional medicine, and there are doctors who say as much. Show something of substance. But more to the point, many of the ways that people use clinical psychology and psychiatry are not what one would consider a physical ailment. Many of the people who say psychiatry and clinical psych are fake and have been through treatment fall into two categories, those who went for some sort of arbitrary short term problem (i.e. marriage difficulties, someone died, etc) that would get better without treatment and people who did treatment only for a short term and didn't follow up on prescriptions or appointments. I will ignore the former because they had no need for therapy in the first place. The latter are as reliable as those who 'discredit' medical science because it didn't work for them. Yes it is a young discipline so there will be growing pains like any other discipline, but it does help people with real problems.

First there is no whole Chinese language. China has a bunch of different languages spread throughout the country; the reason they are all called Chinese is that they use the same writing system. The two main languages are Mandarin and Cantonese. Both are extremely difficult to learn after a certain point due to the tones used in these languages. Personally I am going to start learning Japanese soon because I plan to visit there sometime soon, I don't like going places I don't have some way to communicate with local population. Latin is a good language to learn if you just want to learn a language and not have to worry about speaking it.

A look of confusion when they say something on the money. If they are just using cold readings they will go along with the smiles and progress on the lie; opposite with the confused looks. First most people really don't remember every aspect of a song. More of just the rhythm and timing of a song. Most people don't know a large amount of the words of a song, even if they listen to it over and over. Also, I notice when songs guitar or bassline skip or something is changed more than most people I know because I play music and tend to listen more attentively. I've seen people not even notice with there is a quarter beat skip in a cd yet it drives me crazy. On how people do it, it's part of how we remember, I can't remember the term for the life of me. We remember things by association with other things; such as being able to remember something you learned in school better if you are sitting. You can remember the pieces of a song because the beat, timing and such primes you for what you are expecting to happen next.

Eye witness testimony is ridiculously faulty. The could very well say, and believe, they heard about these explosions because someone else thought they heard it. The sound could have easily been many other things and only attributed to the WTC after the fact if, in fact, they heard something similar to explosions. Again, as most have already pointed out, argument from incredulity is not a valid argument; whether you find it hard to believe or not that is how it probably happened. It doesn't matter what a bunch of people who have probably never been on the scene say what they think may be possible. I would take someone's word on something they investigated more so than someone's word who get their facts from conspiracy videos. On the 'explosion', a great many things could cause that. It could have just been pressure built up from the heat of the fires, someone may had something very flammable in their office, etc. There was nothing about the smoke to suggest that it could have been powerful explosives. If it were it probably would have taken out far more than a single window.

Yes there is a root cause, but people still hold the responsibility. They can help but behave that way, and if they cannot handle the punishment that come from their actions they shouldn't put themselves in such a situation. Saying, "I couldn't help it, facebook made me accept this person I wanted to have sex with as a friend, talk to them, meet with them, take off my clothes, etc." is stupid, plain and simple. They would have cheated with or without a social networking site; perhaps they would have cheated with someone at work or some other common meeting place. They would still cheat. It has nothing to do with what websites they frequent. If you have any evidence that the marriages that cited facebook as a reason would not have ended without some sort of social networking site I may listen. Until then you're just making excuses for stupid people.

But you have to look at the deaths per capita, not raw number of deaths. The total population has went from around 158,000,000 in 1950 to 283,000,000 in 2000. And those extra eight years can do a lot when one gets older. In my opinion the lack of other deaths and the population growth more than make a satisfactory answer to why there are so many lung cancer deaths.

No It's from appropriate usage from people who shouldn't be using it in that way. Obviously the people who cheat are going to use things like these to do what they do. That doesn't mean the site in itself is bad, it just means those people use it in a way they probably shouldn't. Your statement would be able to extend to almost anything, sex is wrong because it causes divorce when someone has sex with a person outside of the relationship.
