  1. how do people here from all disciplines handle that sort of scientific work which is full of endless details, requires accuracy and determination without giving up in the middle? any useful tips?
  2. Is it possible for an earthquake to be defined as linear/non-chaotic phenomena? sorry for the weird phrasing, i'm not a physicist.
  3. Today I entered this forum several times and a link to this site appeared: http://www.americantaskforce.org/news/roundup.htm I don't really have problems with ads, but this kind of stuff pisses me off. I'm Jewish, I'm pro-Israel and I don't care what they have to say. I don't want to see this crap here anymore.
  4. All Africans are inferior to all Asians = WRONG Every African is INFERIOR to every Asian = WRONG Mean African is INFERIOR to mean Asian = TRUE
  5. Dear, Uhm, "Beautiful Mind", Did you ever hear about the new, fascinating mathematical ivention called "The Mean"?
  6. We frequently rank things in science. Words like "primitive"/"advanced"-"inferior/superior" frequently appear in scientific articles, especially in the discipline of biology. Now, the question is why can't we apply these terms to us? The homo-sapiens? Why is it each time that someone writes that africans have a low IQ he's considered a racist? The truth is, that like everywhere else - there are superior and inferior people. There are superior and inferior races. Science can prove any such statement and back it with countless empirical evidence. So should we all continue to believe in lies that all humans are equal? Give me a break. I'm not a racist, I don't have people because of their colour - But I believe that if Asians have an IQ of ~105, as compare to Africans who have an IQ of ~70, then Asians are superior to Africans. Now, am I wrong?
  7. @ me; You can tell stories here (and post pictures) about (of) the most ugly and the most fancy labs you ever visitid [or know about]. As a meteorologist I spend most of my time in the back of a truck. The equipment is very old - 286 computers, and some "releatively" new laptops. The heat inside is well over 40 celsius. We call it the Auschwitz Lab, and often make jokes about the Holocaust when we're inside of it. :lame:
  8. "Einstein is better because he's a Jew" Whoever said that, is an idiot. Niels Bohr is also a Jew, lol. http://www.yahoodi.com/famous/science1.html

    - Iq -

My IQ is 152, with lowest in Verbal and highest in Math. That's kinda funny, because most of other people consider me a total idiot. Actually, they even thought I was an idiot; that's why they forced me to take an IQ test. My 'exceptional' mental abilities never helped me, though. I never excelled in anything.
  10. http://www.geocities.com/ptypes/temperament_test.html I came out as a rationalist. "Rationalists want to understand and gain power over nature, to understand, control, predict, and explain realities, to be seen as competent, to have, most of all, competencies, capabilities, abilities, capacities, skills, and ingenuity, to be able to do things well under varying circumstances, to constantly improve, to be free from errors, to increase their store of knowledge, to learn as much as they can, to rearrange the environment, either through constructing physical edifices or building institutional systems, to speculate about the possible motivations and thoughts of those they are with, trying to fit their experiences into some system (Keirsey, 1984, pp. 47-57; cf., Heineman (NT))." Yeah!

    - Iq -

What are the average IQ's of Physics, Chemistry and Biology B.S-M.S-Ph.D's? Can IQ measure intelligence? What is the meaning of an IQ score? How can it be explained that the IQ of Richard Feynman (Greatest scientific mind since WW2) is 'only' around 125, below Madonna (142)?
  12. The average salary of a biochemist is 26,000$ with a B.S and 52,000$ with a Ph.D. For a chemist it's 40,000$ with a B.S and 90,000$ with a Ph.D. Why are biochemists so poorly paid?
  13. Did any of you people had a dream to be a scientist, but once actually met science experienced disappointment?

Your main type is whichever of those nine behaviors you use most, in your case Type 8w7. Your mean type, Type Omni, is who you are on average, based on the sum influence of all nine behaviors. Most Enneagram books and tests focus on main type and use an additional "variant" classification (instead of mean type) to account for the influence of all nine behavior types. This is the same thing as mean typing, except instead of 9 delineations, there are only three. Based on your test results your variant is Sexual. So when reading other Enneagram books or websites refer to the Type 8w7, Sexual variant descriptions.
