With a little bit of time to collect himself he revealed that it was more of a flash back scenario the thoughts he was having about her thoughts to him were the ridiculing and abusive ones she had previously subjected him too however........ for that brief time he was sure she was having and directing those thoughts to him in the present. I'll stick to the complex PTSD diagnosis as the symptoms fit bottom line she messed him up he was fine til her so it's logical until given definitive proof otherwise.

Actually there are alot of reasons for psychosis I have been searching the internet and I am convinced now that he suffers from complex post traumatic stress disorder. His psychiatrist was not alot of help 1 meeting of 10 minutes allowed her "catch all diagnosis" she was reluctant to clarify it any further no evaluation or anything just his self reporting. Kind of an update with a question to my previous post on this subject. Anyway the father was in family court today and the presence of his ex spouse and the stress of court induced a brief psychotic episode. He is so susceptible to stress!!!! He was doing perfect his mental health worker and psychiatrist cut him loose no prescriptions to take no counselling and now this. He is normal now the symptoms having lasted for an hour and a half and were accompanied by an anxiety attack. WHAT IS THIS???? He was absolutely fine until today. Symptoms were not severe but he said he experienced auditory hallucinations directly related to her like he could hear what she was thinking. This woman has made his life very difficult any help would be greatly appreciated. The only diagnosis he ever got was psychotic illness with schizophrenic like symptoms which is a catch all as far as I am concerned.

If sexuality were not somehow repressed we would have an HIV and other std epidemic of massive proportions. People have learned to be more careful out of neccessity in selecting sexual partners. However I agree it should not be so taboo or require so much work to get lucky. All women please become easy, we will not call you foul names that label such behaviour as shameful.

Point taken mr. Skeptic. I thought this section would be most appropriate because it relates to mental health. Anger, hatred, etc. can indeed consume an individual. I am looking for the Extreme, Think Count of monte cristo, planned and carried out to perfection. Ignorance on my part led me to omit other sections of the forum, assuming the most knowledgable about the inner workings of the human mind and truly vengeful minds would be found here. I was hoping I would find the Michael Scoffield of revenge (t.v. show prison break) And a psychiatrist or psychologist who has dealt with the type of personality needed to transfer anger into a most satisfying revenge. If there is a psychiatrist posessing the traits of Hannibal Lecter lurking in this forum then by all means please step forward and offer up some scenarios. Excluding the cannibalism of course because that's just gross.

Wise man say........forgiveness is divine but the people may confuse it for weakness. this thread is not going where I wanted it to go I was hoping to hear some brilliantly planned strategies for revenge. It does not have to break the law in any way, shape or form. Could be as simple as a girlfriend breaking up with you so you make it a mission to sleep with her Mother...........while she is in the next room of course. how would you plan it out to make it a reality? Trying to get idea's for a book here people. Also alot of you say to forgive but not one has yet explained how they would do it? Would you just fume about it personally? would you rant and rave to anyone who would listen? If it was an intense hatred would you seek psychological help?

So how did you just let it go? Perhaps they were trivial matters but what would your reaction be if someone say burned your house down, you had no insurance, there was no way to prove the person did it but they told you they did, and the crisis caused you to lose your job which lead to your spouse leaving you? Would you just let it go? I'd much rather hear how you would avenge such an injustice.

That would be true justice yet we don't see it that way anymore, Only in cases of murder is an equal punishment considered. Even then the offender is given a rather "gentle" death and usually has several or more years before the sentence is carried out. True justice/revenge would be for the offender to die in the same manner they killed. But then..........since the life they took was an innoccent one others would debate there should be additional suffering to compensate for that fact. I think I would agree with that myself.

Never in my life have I ever heard of a legal case where 2 14 year olds were both charged with an illegal act for having sex with one another. I don't mind providing references for difficult to obtain information but I'm not going to scour the criminal code for a reference to common sense. Extremely young mothers give birth to children everyday in western civilization and if it was an illegal act they would be charged and dealt with accordingly don't you think? Teens are easily manipulated by someone older or the same age often enough, We call it "peer pressure" It is where one takes on activities they would not ordinarily engage in in an attempt to gain popularity and status. The desire for acceptance is much stronger in youth. You may not care if you present a "cool" appearance anymore but when you were in high school you did. When you couple the popularity and acceptance of drinking in the younger generation with a pre disposed alcoholic and then give them a virtually unlimited supply of alcohol and then trust they will make the right decision and not drink well...........that's just dumb. And a "flawed" belief it is my responsibility to protect someone (children" ) from themselves your damn right that is what a parent does. At 5 mommy knows everything, at 10 mom knows alot, at 15 mom doesn't know anything, at 20 mom likely knows about this. at 25 I'll just ask mom. I do not believe sex is wrong I do believe a 20 year old taking advantage of a 13 year old is wrong. I do not support the idea that young teens should have sex but I don't condemn it either, after all I was at that age too you know. Where a kiss from a pretty girl caused an erection, The physical response imply's to me that nature intended young reproduction, A throwback to when human's only lived to 30 or whatever. We are now in an age where we live much longer, a much larger knowledge base is required to live in stability, Because of economy a person must be financially stable before raising a family etc. In short you need to be able to supply food, shelter, clothing etc in a much more complex jungle and it takes longer to learn the survival skills neccessary.

There is quite alot of controversy on this subject. The leading experts suggest revenge is a negative emotion, that one should deal with the underlying anger and forget about it. BUT for those who have been truly wronged this is no easy feat. Somtimes revenge is the only option that can bring closure. It is next to impossible to forget a deep injustice so if your stance is to forgive and forget please be sure to include just how exactly one should do this. To be truly justified the revenge needs to be on par with the injustice, for instance you cannot burn down someones house because they prank called you. To be certain of equal measures the old adage "revenge is a dish best served cold" is the best advice, meaning don't take your revenge while your still fuming over it because it will not be well planned and/or executed. Pranks have no business in the revenge business, you will not likely feel vindicated unless there is actual suffering of the individual for instance would you rather have a scam business owner pranked with flat tires or would you rather he be subjected to an intense audit instigated by you and several fake customers reporting they paid him large sums of cash? Then follow that up with a visit from the EPA if applicable and finally top it off by sending a letter with a health unit letter head to his intimate partner advising them to come in for STD testing because it has came to their attention they have been intimate with (business owner) who was just diagnosed with (insert nasty STD here) he/she is not being singled out ALL of (scam business owners) sexual partners are being notified. So since there are so many intelligent people here perhaps we can have a little fun and share our nastiest revenge idea's here for laugh's. (and maybe a bit of brainstorming for future reference)

Also if anyone is knowledgable there is some sort of contraption designed to produce neutrino's or somthing that were fired and passed through miles of earth th be recaptured in another lab. Why don't we look at it from a totally new perspective .......If some 20 + bozo was to have sex with my 13 year old daughter and someone told me it was alright because she was old enough to make that decision well I tell you me someone aside from mr 20+ is apt to get a swift kick in the ass. The money the U.S. spent on it's wars in recent years is said to have been enough to solve world hunger several times over. That tells me that the means to end poverty already exists.............We just don't want to, sorry......rather our politicians don't want to. Also we haven't reached the point where we cannot produce enough food to feed the entire planet, however current agriculture like everything else is very reliant on fossil fuels to produce large amounts so........when we have a fuel shortage we're going to see huge increases in food cost and huge slumps in production, then we will not be able to feed everyone.

Whatever happened to just plain old common sense? Grandma and grandpa drank the stuff by the gallon unpasteurized lived on high sodium (salt) high fat diets as well and most of our elder generation was and is healthier than us. Most lived and are living longer than we will as well. Exercise is the key to vitality, combined of course with lesser amounts of processed and commercially produced foods. It amazes me just how many food additives are chemical by products of some manufacturing process and we provide the method of disposal. "Garbage in and garbage out" I was raised on huge quantities of unpasteurized milk having lived on a dairy farm My Grand father lived to 87 Grand mother to 86 with daily consumption. Cataracts was the biggest health concern until his 80's when stomach cancer became an issue. Every elder I know was a farmer some ate bacon and eggs every morning for breakfast with no ill health. Try and do that today with our sedentary lifestyles and you'll be having bypasses at 50. Just plain common sense as I see it. Also like to note I read somewhere that unpasteurized milk helped build immunity to many diseases because the pathogens were present in small quantities which helped the body build resistance. Nowaday's we see people head for antibiotics at the first sniffle and peroxide for minor scrapes. So........how do you get a strong immune system if you never use it? We all get cancerous cells but generally we destroy them cancer is caused when somthing hinders this immune response.

I'm not smart in these area's but would it at all be possible to use water source heat pump technology to drive a steam engine and where the energy source to drive the heat pump would come from solar energy? I ask because I think it would be a possibility to design seagoing cargo vessels to run on this principle where the entire hull would be covered in solar panels and the consistent temperature of the ocean would be the water source. I also thought it would be interesting to use a sealed engine which ran on liquid nitrogen where the power was gained by the steam pressure because liquid nitrogen boils at below room temp. In this design the water source heat pump would actually be the coolant system. The liquid nitrogen a sealed loop system of course. Please keep your answers in laymans terms. Also I am sure there is a simple answer why but how come with today's highly efficient electric motors no one has replaced the gasoline engine on a generator in an attempt to gain free energy? EG. a 3 h.p. electric runs on 220v 30 amp and a gas 3 h.p. generator puts out 220v 30 amp X2 seems to me with a 100% increase these could be wired in series to create a huge amount of power running off of 1 220v 30 amp connection.

A still developing brain and body cannot be expected to make the same rational choices as a fully developed one. "I wish I had not had sex and gotten pregnant at 16" "I wish I hadn't dropped out of school" "I wish I hadn't gotten drunk and drove home crashing the car" Teens are more apt to make poor decisions in an effort to gain social acceptance and popularity. I believe the laws are irrelevant anyway, they do very little to enforce anything they just force teens to keep their behaviour secret. As for sex laws well they exist to keep a predator at bay and ensure they will be held accountable. It is not illegal for 2 14 year olds to have sex but it is illegal for a 25 year old to have sex with a 14 year old. And for good reason. On another note look at smoking, and drinking a large part of the allure is that it is illegal one can't help but wonder if it were permissible would they still choose to do it? But that is a foolish risk because a developing brain would very much be damaged by routine consumption of alcohol. Those pre disposed to alcoholism wouldn't stand a chance. View it as a law of many to protect the few from themselves. I'm sure any teen would agree they have friends or know someone at their school who would drink everyday if they could. As well they would agree they know others who are much less mature than themselves and ones who are more mature, All of this needs to be taken into consideration. What would happen if we made a law whereby adults could choose for themselves if they were intoxicated and be free to drive? There would be a small yet significant percentage that would drive while totally inebriated, There would be a larger percentage who would drive while significantly above the current legal limit and there would be those who would not drive with any blood alcohol level. There would be far more alcohol related accidents that's for sure, Alot of the "above legal limit" drivers would only make the decision while impaired if sober they would shun such activity. That's a law for adults that is for the many to protect the few from themselves but on the whole it protects us all. We don't assume all adults are stupid but given the right circumstances there is a good possibility they'll make an error in judgement. Of course it doesn't take alcohol to do this I know 30 year olds who are more immature than some 14-15 year olds I know but in most cases this isn't true.

Freedom of choice should alway's be at the forefront I do not agree with much of today's restrictions, Perhaps if life were not so unneccessarily stressful then suicide would not be seen as a logical solution. We live in such an immediate gratification society with so much emphasis placed on "Barbie doll" success that people see it as a responsibility to"keep up with the Joneses" at all costs. This only causes more stress in different areas of the individuals life. We are addicted to fantasy and for some real life doesn't keep up.

The poor boy is absolutely petrified and very untrusting. He knows if his Mom finds out he was talking he will be in big trouble. He has no confidentiality as his Mom reviews what is said between him and counsellors and he is punished for anything negative he has said about her. He knows he cannot go back on what was said about his Dad because his Mom will find out and he'll be punished.

If Jesus were alive today and spoke with a psychiatrist about his beliefs and visions he would be diagnosed a schizophrenic. We have seen the human mind capable of extraordinary things, From the outrageous such as a monk who can cause his body to heat up and thus survive unclothed in minus 30 weather (temperature rise confirmed with medical science) to the idiot sauvant who has the ability to recall any phone number from a list in the millions. We have even seen martial arts masters break concrete with their bare hands and we have seen a psychic who can give intricate details about an individual only a spouse knew about. Science is very good at explaining away how this is accomplished, coincidence often explains psychic ability, Science needs to accept that just because we can't prove it doesn't make it implausible, perhaps creationism and the big bang are both correct. The big bang was the method chosen by the creator When one lives in eternity a few hundred million years is a drop in the bucket. Science also has a keen ability to ignore what it cannot explain, spontaneous remissions of chronic disease as a result of faith is commonly ignored. Perhaps the faith is a trigger mechanism that causes the body to self heal since science has accepted that a person can raise and lower autonomic responses at will and perform seemingly impossible feats why could it not be equally sound that an individual could raise or lower immune system responses. And then of course take it one step further and argue the creator made us this way. There is still more we don't understand than current science knows and it is unprofessional and unscientific to dismiss idea's without testing for truth. The problem is current science does not yet have a method to test if creationism is possible or a control subject to test theories against. It would be entirely plausible that an alien race far superior to ours stopped off on earth and started a few genetic experiments and created a few genetic hybrids we evolved from but who will accept that? Even though we are pretty much in agreement that extra terrestrial life exists, it would be mathematically impossible for it to not, Because WE cannot devise a way to travel such vast distances on limited fuel we claim it impossible. Well perhaps in 200 years we'll be living like the Jetson's in a star trek followers fantasy but until it happens it's impossible and the conveyor of such beliefs is crazy. Just push aside that our current science can clone and alter DNA structures and we could create our own unique life forms with modern science and carry on ........because it's impossible and unfounded.

Just what makes a person so susceptible to stress that they have a state of psychosis? The person whom I speak of had alot of contributing factors he was assaulted and knocked unconscious but MRI showed no lasting damage (could it still cause psychosis? and permanent damage?) part of his head he claimed felt numb and had a pressure sensation. He starved himself living on coffee and cigarettes more or less for several months resulting in 50 lb weight loss, severe sleep deprivation, and the stress of ending a 10 year or more relationship. That's alot for anyone but since the psychotic episodes did not begin until after the assault would this not be the most likely cause? After hearing his story I am shocked that no one in the medical profession seems interested in diagnosing the actual cause 30 day's in a forensic mental health facility and all they came up with was a severe psychotic illness producing schizophrenic like symptoms with no effort to find the root cause. He said in fact he only met with the psychiatrist once for a total of 10 minutes and the beginning of that conversation was about reccommending anti psychotics. It was not until his linking with an out patient psychiatrist that any questions were asked of him and he has made a full recovery without any medication as he refused it in the institution citing he was not eating or sleeping and sustained a head injury and believed that was the main cause but that was ignored. Curiously enough he has also claimed that the psychotic state was very pleasant "the happiest period of his life" He said it was as if dreaming while awake the relationships he had, though delusional were very desirable as they conformed to his ideal and he has stated a desire to intentionally induce it because he still claims it was a period of spiritual awakening, though he no longer has the delusions he is sure it was spirits he spoke with a psychic experience and he wishes to prove it as such. I am sure I have been in the presence of ghosts myself and I believe most everyone else I know has too at least once would there be any harm in encouraging that it may have been a psychic experience? He seems more confused about all of this now than he did before.
