  1. I've been browsing the internet and have found sites where you can actually buy Uranium metal. Now I don't know if you need a specific kind, 235 or 238, but the basic ingredients in a fission bomb are Uranium and a case of TNT to implode around the Uranium. I'm sure there's a lot more to it, but what? Is 238 what they call enriched Uranium? Is this what's required? Just kinda confuses me if that's all there is to it. Thanks.
  2. "And remember, Tuesday is Soilent Green day." Idk, that's just what it reminds me of lol.
  3. Awesome. A week ago I find out they're making hoverboards and now this. Wow:-)
  4. I do like that it shows Al Gore as a hippocrate. Also some good airshow footage. I like my planes:-) But yeah, I don't know what they're trying to accomplish with these ads. I myself don't believe that global warming is as bad as everyone is making it sound, it is a natural cycle. But making carbon dioxide sound like a good thing, something that we need more and more of, I do not agree with.
  5. http://www.answers.com/topic/speedometer This site explains a couple of types used in cars.
  6. I think it's great that he wasn't allowed into the prom. I don't know about anyone else, but I usually meet a new girlfriend whenever I go to a dance. Now what if some guy that didn't know this thing was a guy ended up dancing with it or worse....eww.
  7. I have to agree with aj47. I find myself listening to The Postal Service - "Brand New Colony" at least 10 times a day. Just kinda gives me that funny feeling on the back of my neck. Wonder why it sounds so good to the human ear...
  8. What if you were to throw the drain cleaner in a centrifuge? Maybe particles could be sorted out that way. I'll help ya make one out of an Erector set lol.
  9. I put some of those on my head once...not a good idea:-( But yeah, I really have a thing against that alternative medicine crap. I think doctors that try and push that stuff should be thrown in jail, especially when they try to say: "Take these pills instead of going through chemotherapy."
  10. Yeah, but then it's going to want you to listen to its stupid acoustic songs with whispered lyrics. gawd...
  11. To me, this sounds like one of those things where you have to ask yourself how much energy your using to make this fuel. Similar to electric cars. Sure the car itself is cleaner, but to make that electricity a power plant had to burn who knows how many pounds of coal. You just can't get something for nothing.
  12. In a way, yes we are emitting a wave and it affects everything around us. But not in any way the movie claims. When you act a certain way towards a person, that person is affected by the way you act, and that in turn will cause them to act a specific way towards other people or things. I have a hard time believing that water can get "vibes" off of us and change states because of it. But in short, yes, everything you do or feel affects the world around you, and maybe a lot of the world that you don't see. Feelings and attitudes affecting matter, an object that has no way to feel these feelings and attitudes? I don't think it can happen.
  13. I don't believe you could remove a sonic boom... not unless you had a supersonic aircraft that was completely silent. But my question is this. Why would you want to? Sonic booms are just so cool. My dad always talked about when he was a kid living near a military target range hearing sonic booms all day. That made me so jealous. Only once in my life did I ever hear one, and it happened when President Bush's escort broke the sound barrier over my house. All I can say is it was AWESOME! lol
  14. My suggestion for this sort of thing is just let it be. Don't concentrate to the point your face turns purple, probly not healthy for ya. Learn lucid dreaming, you'll be extremely happy you did.
  15. Yes, there is a shockwave from explosions, but the heat all depends on what is exploding. And I'm not a Tom Cruise fan so I don't think I'll be able to find out anytime soon;)
  16. Interesting lol. Hope there aren't any adverse reactions with Viagra:D
  17. I'm not sure if that particular condition exists, but imo, anything can happen in the brain from taking psychoactive drugs. I'm aware of a condition called HPPD from psychadelics, but that is usually visual. There are different versions of it that include depersonalization and derealization, most of the time caused by MDMA, but these make the person feel anything but euphoric. I currently have HPPD from LSD not reacting well with my brain and it's purely visual. Chairs hovering over the carpet, light changing colors, and stuff like that. So I wouldn't put it passed a psychadelic drug to permantly lock someone in a loop of euphoria.
  18. Now what fun would that be? lol
  19. My mistake. Didn't see what voltage he said. Okie silly dokio, I'm an idiot lol
  20. Honestly I think you're making it harder than it really is. Could you just take two wires, one on the positive and one on the negative and get em close enough together so it sparks?
  21. Well I'm thinkin with things like worm holes in the universe, some of the stuff from the big bang could have time traveled and would be somewhat younger than the parts of the universe that didn't find worm holes. Is that possible?
  22. But why is the question of gravity failing even an issue lol. I don't mean to be a party pooper, but we're talking about the things that create gravity, flying into space. I'm thinkin as long as these things are still there, gravity will always be there. Feel free to slap me if this was just a theoretical discussion of what would happen:-)
  23. Your idea of looking at reflections of past light from the earth is interesting. I think theoretically you could do this, but only if there was a way to amplify the reflection enough to get it back to its original strength. Now making a device to capture light going away from you might be a problem, way over my head. I think if there was the technology and funding, NYPD could put a giant mirror a few light hours away and take a telescope and watch the crime unfold as it did the night before.
  24. I see this way too often in the news. And next week alchohol will be good, and eggs will be bad for you. Tonight at 10 : "HOW SAFE ARE YOUR SHOES?!" hehe
  25. Well it happened on South Park so it's gotta be true:D
