I went to my grandparents house yesterday I we talked with my grandpa. He said the the war in the middle east could last about 30 years. 30 years? I don't know how it could last 30 years. He said that pretty soon they might pass a draft?

Demosthenes was a Greek orator. But I use it because Peter Wiggin used it on the web as his allias in the book Ender's Game, which I was reading when I registered.

I couldn't behead a rat. Maybe I'm really squeemish, but I couldn't do that to anthing. I wish I had tried to fully understand what it actually was before I watched it.

I think I've calmed down enogh to talk aobut it. It's like 2 am and I can't sleep so I'll post something. It doesn't even make any sense. Why would they even do that? And post it on the internet? These people are just crazy. I wouldn't think a person even capable of something like that. A human being. I can sympathize with the islamic people. These extremest factions kill people and are involved in terrorist activities, yet they call themselves islamic (if I'm correct). I can only imagine what it would feel like to be a good islamic person and an ignorant person puts some of the blaim on you just becasue of your religion. Similarly there are Polygamists who claim to be part of the LDS church and claim to follow the teachings of that church, which they don't. Being LDS I can sympathize with having an unliked or hated group somehow associated with my relgion. So I am hesitant to place any blaim on the iraq poeple as a whole.

I didn't read any of the posts except the first couple. Someone said the video wasn't so bad. I saw it and I thought that all it was was these people talking ina different lauguage and they had a prisoner and they were asking for ransom or something. But then I saw the rest of it, I didn't read any more of the posts I just posted my post and turned off the computer and tryed watching cartoons so I could forget what I saw. The truth is, I'll never forget.

Oh man, that's happened to me. It's like I read it, but nothing went into my brain. When I read it again some of the words look familar but I didn't get any of the ideas or what was happening. I think that the whole reason that we do this is because we are thinking about something else. When your thinking aobut something really hard and it's important maybe your brain is like "well, I don't think we'll bother him right now, I'll just do it be myself." Something like that.

So I could maybe run for a long time and it would become automatic, then I don't have to think about it anymore. That would be weird for me.

$5.53 per gallon. I always thought that it cost so much in England becasue the goverment puts mor taxes on the gas so they can promote mass transit? Is that close, or was the news making stuff up??

Would it be more likely that someone could swich to "auto-pilot" if they're tired or something like that??

Wouldn't that be awesome if all that came out of the tail pipe of every car was water vaper (I believe that is the byproduct of hydrogen fuel). I have heard that hydrogen fuel cars are more expensive, like 250,000 dollars, or something like that. Didn't Swarchanager in California set up some sort of Hydrogen highway that has Hyrogen refueling stations all along it? And I think that I've heread that they are working on making the hydrogen car commercially marketable, something like by the year 2010. So we don't have to worry about this much for a while. But when it does come we will relize that it is more expensive. The car itself eill be more expensive, and as I understand it it costs a lot to refine the hydrogen fuel, and will cost more than gas. But eventually we will run out of gas, it takes millions of years to form.

I agree that there are safer more practical ways to protect your home, such as a dog (if I'm right most burglers want to get into the easiest house, and if there is a dog there very likkely to skip the house altogether), but I still believe this country should provide fair laws that uphold everyone's rights, and there are some people who perfectly fine with the resposibility of the possession of a firearm. The secerety should be tighter, background check, psychological tests maybe, just something like that. More breaking down on the black markets would also help so criminals can't buy their guns anywhere.

That sounds about right

I can get distracted easily by my thoughts especially when I'm sitting and watching something boring. Like a little brother's soccer game, I'll just zone out and think about something and when I "return" I have no idea how much time has past. Also, I've noticed that sometimes when I'm preocupied and I look in the mirror and I see myslef I reconize myself and even think of the image as me, but not really me. Like I'm looking at someone whose not quite me. This doesn't happen very often, but it is similar to words losing meaning. You know when you say a word over and over and the word loses meaning. Edit-So what I've concluded is that deeply thinking and losing at least some of your awareness and you are distracted from other thoughts and actions that your are doing. And the actions must be commited to implicit memory where the subject who has the memory does not consciously know that they know that they know how to do something but can do it (where explicit memory is the memory where you know what the skill is that they can do). So someone deeply in thought could do something like drive and use their implicit memory to drive while they think, but that would only work if the driver was really good at driving right?? Tell me if anyhting is wrong, especially about implicit and explicit memory. thx

One more thing, just be quiet "extrasense" I don't see why you have the work "sense" as part of your name, becasue you don't have any.
