25, I have to slow down! Where is the top posters list?

It was fought over secession. But the underlying cause was slavery. It drove a wedge between the free North and the South who had slaves. It was inevitable that the South would secede, and they did so becasue of slavery. Arguments over Slavery-->Secession-->Civil War

The Republican Party at the time had two goals, the important one was to get rid of slavery. It was a moral outrage! (The second wasn't as imiportant, it was to get rid of Poligamy) Thoses were his goals, and we elected their nomination, Lincoln. He fought against slavery and to preserve the Union, and he died for it in the end. The rest of the Americans didn't like slavery either. When Johnson vetoed both the Wade Davis bill and the Freedman's Bureau he was impeached for it!

If I had a gun I would never have the guts to use it, unless someone hurt my family, then I'd shoot the guy in the face until he was a bloody pulp and stomp on his feet. Can't you see why they're so dangerous? I'd be afriad all the time if there was a gun with easy not locked up in the house. My relatives have guns, I've seen a 50 cal! But they were kepted locked up, and these people knew all the safety and everything, but not everyone is like this. See why I'm undecided?

Mini universe? Do these forces, that keep the electrons floating around the nucleus, are they like gravity? But if it is gravity, won't it fail eventually? Won't the moon eventually fly into us or fly away? Or is it something different? Thanks

Thank you, I'll take that into concideration... Actually I just put some flour and gas into a little tin foil bag, I never mixed it, I never lit it either. Relized how much trouble I'd get it!

We didn't use slavery in the North. Only the South, they concidered it a "Nessisary evil" they knew it was wrong. We fought over it (partly) in the Civil war. Then we impeached a president(Johnson) becasue he didn't punish the South after the war. The North was against slavery, all the way. Slavery, segregation, and racism are all sad and tragic chapters in our history.

I think Kerry out of the democrates, but I'm a natural born Republican!

He's on the radio in the early mornings, at least he was when I used to deliver papers. His program was on KSL 1160, but I guess that's only in Utah, sorry about that. He talks about Ghosts and erie stuff that'll freak you out really bad. (at least me) This whole subject just reminded me because I remember one where he told about a scene that people saw replayed that happened a long time ago. They told about how certain metals in the earth can store extreme images and stuff like that. I don't remember all of it, it was a long time ago, but it was freaky !

They really were rebels. But it seems for a good reason. But my question is (at risk of being o/t from the thread) what does slavery have to do with it? I'm sure you have a valid point, I just don't see it. Does it have something to do with the U.S. having slaves while Britain didn't? Or something else? I eagerly await your reply.

http://casa.colorado.edu/~ajsh/schww.html This is where I first read about it. What's this about geometry? Negative square roots and stuff? Does it have something to do with i? Thanks very much.

Ever heard of Art Bell? In the early morning when I used to deliver papers I would listen to it and it would scare the pants off me! It talked about this kinda stuff.

The numbers move?

Near my eye, kinda by the temple. -
Like a situation so extreme and emotional it is recorded onto the materials around it? I've heard of that, what else do you know?

This had something about worm holes too. That they connect white and black holes and stuff, or something like that.
-
Sick! THat should be illeagal! They have to take poison after to kill the tapeworms when they're done, and that can't be that good either!
-
Okay fine, technically they were rebels, but really, they were patriots.
-
Oh I was kidding, but sounds like fun...

Sounds down right freaky! I've noticed that if I lean on hand to the side with one arm, and my hand is pressing on the side of my head for a long time (again becuase I'm tired) I see in double vision. Just a little though. It looked kinda like people had an arura about them at first, it was cool. It too wore off in a few minutes though. -

Oh, darn! I thought it was something cool! Not something that simple. Has this happened to anyone else? -
I stumbled upon a couple pages about the "Einstein-Rosen bridge" While googleing Time Travel. (You know me ) I read what it was, but I didn't understand it completely. Something about negative square roots, Time travel, white hole, black holes, and other stuff. I would like to know what exactly it is and what everyone thinks about it. PS: I'm not really sure what the Einstein-Rosen bridge is to I hope it's not in the wrong forum. If it is you'll forgive me right

Just looking at flamible liquids makes me laugh and get excited. I tried to make flamible dough with gasoline and flour once...

When I'm really tired in the morning I see things! When I look at the digital clock on the stove and let my mind wander while I'm looking at the numbers I notice the numbers to start to move around. THey are shaking and stuff, not like moving eveywhere and back and forth. It's really weird, it's like my eyes have gone crazy. What could be happening to my eyes or my brain that couses me to see the numbers move?
-
I love fire! It is just the funnest thing ever! I love making fires on camp outs and stuff, and out of gasoline in the middle of the road and stuff, not that I ever have.

Even though I argue the opposing side of the debate agiasnt guns, I am undecided. A good debater can argue both sides righ?
