    IQ of nature

Serious, my question has already been answered. The definition is more important than i thought at first. If i had to decide then i'd say nature is all the laws of physics, so, the proper question would rather be "what's the iq of the universe" or... "...of god" ... And i would like to exclude humanity from this, because i think we were a lapse.
  2. Er... uncontrollable fat storing is unhealthy. Our body usually tries best to keep a reasonable balance of substances. Getting obese is either caused by a malfunction of metabolism or by glutting oneself. The combination of flour, fat, salt and/or sugar is the worst we can do to our body, because flour is hardly digested. Food combining is important to let our body do its work correctly. And don't forget to EXERCISE!

Okay, you may stop trying to comfort me. My question was already answered, anyway. Kind of.

    IQ of nature

Hmm... i guess it's a bit of the discussion god versus evolution. So, how intelligent has evolution to be to invent stuff like feathers.
  5. Humans are omnivores. We can eat almost everything to survive. BUT! We are not specialized and have the ability to invent things like a perfect diet.
  6. I'm european and i have a very ambivalent impression of americans. I'd like to live in amerika for it's "bigger and better" attitude, like food or cars and the great weather and sites. Some parts like florida or california are very appealing, because it seems there are alot of beautiful people there. But other parts seem either too ghetto-y or too hillbilly and narrow-minded. The US also seem abit "agressive" and military extrovert. On the other hand this "world police"-role may be good to damp the other side of the globe. Damn, i suddenly feel so small and fragile! And Bush seems like a complete idiot. The photos, the quotes... (How can anyone still question evolution after all this?) "There was two major conflicts in Europe, World War I and World War II." "We got to be wise about our energy policy. I happen to believe in nukyular power. I believe nukyular power -- I know nukyular power is renewable, and it protects the environment." "I believe the role of the military is to fight and win war and therefore prevent war from happening in the first place." That's just my opinion, but i will give you more if you want.

    IQ of nature

Give the stone an IQ test, a pen and some time... Serious now, you can say if a rock is smarter than an ape. Or something like that. You know what i mean!

    IQ of nature

Damn! XD I mean... there must be a way to identify an intellect, like how would you go about to determine if there's an intelligent lifeform. There are specifications, right? I know pretty well about the definition issue, but THERE ARE IQ TESTS!!!!! And there is nature, you know, animals, plants, stones and stuff. (EDIT: and evolution) So, does anyone know if that's done before?

    de ja vu

I know about the processes inside the brain, the errors and all, it makes almost perfectly sense, but there must be different types of déjà vu. Anyone RECENTLY noticed more, longer and/or more intense dejavu's?

    IQ of nature

I was wondering if it was ever measured.
  11. "Well if the traveling to the past is possible why nobody hasn't come yet from the future?" Maybe our world ended before we could build a functioning time machine. So, there must be either alternate timelines or parallel universes for "time travel" to be possible. Think of the grandpa paradoxon. If i travel back in time to kill my granpa, so, there i am, standing in front of him, holding a gun. I shoot and he's dead. Version 1: My past stays, but the future is changed. So, if i wanted to go back to my time (the OLD future) i'd have to travel BACK in time! Version 2: My past is eliminated and i'm stuck. BUT time is either a constant, then you can't break out of your timeline. Or it's not a constant, then you wouldn't be able to travel to a specific "place on the timeline".
  12. Hi, i'm Ray and i enjoy random rants like the one from Sigma6. I like almost all science and would like to know everything and rule the world. I have alot of weird ideas like piezo-powerplants and that gravity is a pushing force. Tollerate me or i'll punch you in the face! (Yes, thru the screen!)

    Piezoelectricity

Thanks, 314159. And to all those google-fanatics: STFU! (Silence Thar, Frivolous Unbeliever!) How do you think I ended up here? All I'm asking for is some concentrated knowledge and not alot of random facts cluttered along the cyberspace infinities. I'll make other threads about inventions and theories involving piezoelectric technologies and wanted this thread as a guide and faq.
  14. I guess probability is the best we can get. There IS something like a "main pattern", you can see examples everywhere in nature, but an exact prediction (100%) will never be possible, due to data loss on every observation. We can't possibly get EVERY needed information and there will allways be loss. As to "free will": There is a nice long thread here:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Piezoelectricity I'd like to collect any further facts about "piezo-stuff".
