Below are two methodologies for arriving at a Goal/mold. ( Illustrated ) The RED line is the calculated , Mathematical, causal route to the goal. [ Prediction ] The Blue lines are the many attempts trial and error , probability based method of reaching the mold /goal.[ Non Causal ]] The green line is the inevitable success via the probability method. [Non Causal ] I am suggesting the cosmos may use both methods in its creation of the UNIVERSE , in large doses of each .

Dictionary definition almost unreadable and ambiguous. Wikipedia Bundles it with Present :- So on reading through the various slants on NOW / ( PRESENT ) on Wikipedia it seems very closely linked with conscious recognition of the moment as described above. So we have a proposed definition: I think there is scope for discussion of the implications of this. Like, If there were no conscious beings around , would there not be a NOW anywhere at all ? And before Humans appeared on Earth , was there no NOW around on Earth ? What about up on some moon , near some distant star with no life on it, is there no NOW there ? Is there no NOW at all ( clearly there is as I can feel it, sense it ! ) I still have a hunch ( just a hunch ) there is a universal NOWness that just passed by everywhere just now ! I accept you mean 'one' as in 'an individual ' I am very much of the mind that the universe is not mainly working because of the mathematical causality coming up from below . Although the below may have a fairly solid ish (not total) causal element to it. Namely defined by some of the laws we are concerned with in Physics. None the less we have these areas where things are based on probability. To handle this I do not believe the universe goes away and works out statistics. I believe rather that nature ( the natural machinery of nature) takes part in things happening. And then acting as some form of mold, responds directly to circumstances presented . . Responses to the event could occur ( probabalistically ) in a number of ways. Providing there are mechanisms in place where responces which gave increased advantages if favourable and for disfavourable opportunities get poor numbers. Say like playing pool. Although you can work out angles, having a shot, and trying again until you get the shot right. So nature favors the successful and Discourages the poor achiever . Then mold solutions emerge and improve This really is a trial and error method. NOT a Calculated responce. I think this is demonstrated in the over production of permutations in say sperms, pollen , etc.

Our New geology group are heading out this week Fri 3rd May . To Dawlish South Devon Coast. I understand this was built up by blowing Permian wind, heaping up desert sands into vast RED Dunes. Did not inflation go zz z..i...i..T very early on and the grid fabric of four dimensional space -time spread out all over the place. If the whole universe then followed with the big bang, quantum soup, plasma and all and all quarks, nuclii. electrons, recombination, stars galaxies to NOW . Then being part of or in [space-time] we are within [space 3d location and time 1d NOW ] or at least past present{NOW} future. We are conscious at the NOW . We remember the PAST and anticipate the FUTURE.. But where is everybody else and everywhere else. Are they in their own NOW different from mine. Or are they in some universe wide NOW , that came out of inflation and is moving through the cosmos like some GIANT WAVEFRONT all at the same NOW ?

No. I find it difficult to accept ( i am probably wrong, I don't know ) point like particles (i thought all sorts of infinities appeared when r=0. unless the point is not r=0 Yes I have looked at the wikepedia link you gave. I would like to think the electron has / had both. When free - some form of curve y spin all be it , different to the astronomical spin, - and when in association with a nucleus , namely in an atom , another complex type of curve y movement which has angular implications.whilst in its orbitals or in its energy band. I do appreciate that at the quantum level are as different as ' chalk and cheese'. But I still think if you have Angular momentum as an actual quantity , there surely must be some 'angle going through process' of some sort , which must be curve y or partial circle y of some sort . Also we have the magnetic moment caused by something moving curve y one way or another. maybe electrons move curve y all the time in their cloud like orbitals.. Maybe there is enough angles during the cloud paths to give the angular momentum ?

There seems to be a determined effort to keep "Spin" well veiled in the realm of non visualization. Why is there such a zealous cause to keep spin in a - ' not spin as we know spin' - where both the name " Spin " and the term " angular momentum " .have suggestions of some form of rotational activity, all-be-it that it is not thought to be quite like a spinning top. ? Can we totally exclude any form of partial (circular, rotational, oscillatory ) even if such movement may be quite different from what we normally experience in the macro world.?

Yes. I suppose by definition , you could be right. IF Multiverses are real. If they are just probabilities . namely etherial, light , of no substance then we are saying probabilities are probabilities some time some place. This is the sort of counter argument put back to me on my theory of everything [ anything or everything will happen if.... bla de bla ..] But do these multiverses exist ? in probability form or in some other form ? Possibilities ? Non possibilities ? unlikely 's and coming back down to earth . Can any of these have any future link with reality ? as opposed to future only probabilities. Might it not be that , Yes, given INFINITY of time all probabilities have time to 'come around ' as it were . But the probabilities , multiply up so gargantually and monsterously numerically hughmungeous that even for one of these probabilities coming around goes beyond the time for any universe or multiverse ever still being here . ? I really do think we are getting too hung up on this Prediction Thing If we are going looking for new Physics surely most of the things that have an obvious connection with other things have been mostly spotted. If we are looking for some new ideas, they may have obscure connections and again only probabilistic in links. I am saying lets run for a while with ideas, before we too soon BLAST the infant idea out of the water before they have learned to swim.

This subject got a little entangled with something going 'Pear Shaped ' I was trying to bring up the point that As so much of todays discoveries about the cosmos throw up many examples of probability being a significant part of the process, Might it be practicable to ease up on the maths and predictions AT THE EARLY STAGE of Speculation ideas . This might prevent us " throwing away the baby with the bathwater " Baby - New speculative idea Bathwater - Maths and Prediction cleanliness demands.

You are making some interesting comments split. I have said in another thread that I have come to the conclusion that because of an ample , equal , or excess number of probability mechanisms within the very structure of the universe that if Einstein said " God does not play Dice " I think I am going to have to beg to differ and say indeed " God does Play Dice. " The Universe is full of Probability links which give the Cosmos an amazing variety , beauty and randomness .

I have had a good old think about what you have said. i have spoken to a few colleagues about your idea and the whole area surrounding it. At the end of lengthy debates and discussion , we came to a point of focus " When is NOW " Is it the same for everyboby and more importantly anywhere. say a million light years away in the Andromeda Galaxy. Is the Now that is happening for me right NOW happening at this same very moment out there in Andromeda . So as not to derail this thread on " A lingual Theory of Everything" . I Have started a new thread on the NOW. By all means we can discuss your interesting Ideas within the context of this tread, but if you feel your theory needs debate in the context of NOW ness , we could do it over there, or you could set up a multiverse thread of your own , as I am not up on all the in's and outs of Multiverse ideas. I wait with baited breath for Mr Swansont to tell me " If you have a theory of everything" " you should be able to deal with multiverses as well " as part of everthing !
