According to de broglie
wavelegth = h/mv where h=plancks constant , m = rest mass of body , v =velocity of body
but for a photon rest mass = 0 therefore it should have wavelength equal to infinity but it is not true light waves have certain wavelength . Can anyone explain me why it is like that ?
yes of course the spectrum of that atom will be changed because now it will get +ve charge (as it has lost one electron) so it will behave like an ion rather than neutral ion so it will give different emission spectra
