  1. how many years are you planning the caulking to retain it's integrity? It is a brilliant Idea using caulking (I was always taught to do it gcol's way) but just to be sure you might want to put a seallent on it, either the kind they use on actual boats or the kind you put on hottubs.

Just as a quick question, what are you using to import the data to your logger? An interesting one i thought of would be to import through usb. yes? no?
  3. It seems to me that some of my friends and I were talking about this very same idea so I'm pretty excited to see this coming to reallity. I worry about the prospect of location though: even if you found the strongest tide to work with, you still have to find the place where the turbines will have the least impact of the local ecology. This really is exc;iting how were trying to use every type of energy we can.
  4. Just as a quick thought that came into my brain 0/0 is like a random possibility. If you look at 0/0 simply the top 0 tells you that the number is zero whereas the bottom zero makes the number infinite so we at least know one thing, it's not zero and it's not infinite, according to that argument anyway. Also according to that argument the form 0/0 is actually a range of numbers from 0< x< infinite so with your choices, on the spur of the moment just like this thought, I would have to choose 1 as being the answer to 0/0
  5. I'm curious about something, whenever we count in a certain base we have to be able to count upto that number, example in base ten we count from 1 to 9 then proceed to one zero, or 10. same as binary. now in that respect I can see why counting in base e or base infinite would be useless but what if we counted in powers of infinite? now i realise that this is impossible unless it is infinite to the power infinite and so forth. now this may be just a mathematical side thought but i was just curious if iwas staying in the realms of mathematical rule.
