  16. A planet with two Suns #weird. Maybe that is the aliens abode outta space

  17. "NASA's kepler mission has discovered a planet where two suns set across the horizone instead of one. The planet called kepler-16b is the most "tatooine like" planet yet found in our galaxy. Tatooine is the name of the luke skywalker's home world in science fiction movie star wars. In this case the planet is not found to be habitable. It is a cold world with gaseous surface, but like tatooine it cycles two stars. The parent star is smaller than our sun. One is 69% the mass of our sun and the other, only 20%. Kepler-16b orbits around both stars every 229 days similar to venus' 225 day orbit, but lies outside the system's habitable zone where liquid water could exist on the surface, because the stars are cooler than our sun" http://www.nasa.gov/mission_pages/kepler/news/kepler-16b.html#maincontent The bottleneck here is that with these two suns, kepler-16b is supposed to orbit each as other planets orbit the Sun in our solar system, but with the number of days it takes to complete its revolution (I don't know how fast it rotation), it appears that it revolves round both at a time.

  19. No, it is not a scientifically established fact. Alcohol does not kill the brain cell from my finding (online). Though it might have one or two potential risks with time as it tends to trigger the activation of varieties of genes that can influence the activities of the brain, but the brain seems to repair themselves after chronic alcoholic abuse. The bottleneck I just face in believing this is the fact that a drunk person loses his consciousness which the brain play a big role to balance.
  20. Phrenology {from greek word phrên, "mind"and logos "knowledge"} is a branch of science {pseudoscience} that deals with the measuring of the human skull, based on the concept that the brain is the organ of the mind, and that certain brain areas have localised specific function or modulus. Following the materialist notions of mental functions originating in the brain. Phrenologist believe that human conduct could best be understood in neurological rather than philosophical or religious terms. QUOTED FROM WIKIPEDIA http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/phrenology.
  21. There is need for Universities to be independent in some aspects. If there is going to be a change in the society, the universites/colleges have a lot of role to play.
