  2. ere was a thread in here somewhere about a man who over clocked a 333mhz computer to 5ghz using liquid nitrogen. If i was you i would invest in a water driven heat sink.

  4. thanks for putting it simply yt :S
  5. Good Show.
  6. valid point; you cant see a dimension without being 1 above it. Is that what you meant? Ofcourse the reprocussions of this mean that if you were in 4 spacial dimentions, you would be able to leave the universe as freely as jusmping a stepping stone.
  7. Right well we know that fusion is not easily possible due to the iimmense energies required. However this indian chap used a method of playing sound near a bubble in water. The right frequency allows the bubble to expand and the collapse catastrophically. The moluculese inside the bubble hit each other nd become incredibbley hot. Tens of thousands of degrees. He figured he could perform nuclear fusion like this. However his trials proved succsesful, and Horizons did not. The little *ahem* decided he didnt want to help with the experiment and such it is possible horizon got the experiment sligjhtly wrong, as he took years to perfect it.
  8. well horizon didnt manage to recreate the experiment. Shame. But anyway ill look for a link.
  9. ill wack it in the best quotes thread when i have time
  10. Fantastic analogy. Well done!
  11. sorry i will soon but im too engorosed at the mo. I SERIOUSLY suggest you turn on now. The science on is at maximum a couple of months old.
  12. dont prosume the other dimensions are dimensions of space, i think that could be a little niave.
  13. Just watching the episode now; what do you think? For those of you who dont know; There is a way of making a bubble glow using just sound, the bubble once exposed to the sound waves expand and then collapse creating Immense heat. Enough heat for fusion to occur? Experiments so far appear optomistic. Ill psot a link when i find one

have they had any court cases regarding these? Also what happens if u buy office e.g. of ebay, but somebody elsse is using the serial?

Im unsure to the Legality of file sharing, and also of getting the serial from a trial off the internet.
  19. who else pmed you?

    CD tracks

When creating a new CD is there anyway to write it so WMP recognises the track names when the CD is inserted? Im doing compilation CDs.
  21. technically acording to quantum statstics, you could interpret it as everything having perpetual motion. Boltzmann suggested that if a long enough time span was given, energy may probabilisticly collect in one place, possibley in the same place to allow the event to happen again. The example given was that a stone falling entropises energy as heat, this heat could then collect again in the same place and be converted into KE and make the stone jump again. This, is one of the many holes which QED seems to be pulling in teh second law of thermodynamics. Remember, your friend will have to be very patient, because where S= k ln Ω. And hence Ω being 1*10^000000000000000000000000, meaning that he will probably have to wait an amount of time in relation to this. I think.
  22. I did at one point but it made me look like a goon and i soon realised nobody took me seriosuly anymore.
  23. yeh i was just thinking that actually. However tecnically it still would be correct unless it had infinate density seing as a percentage of infinity is always infinity, Or is it? With our formula we get X/infinity * 100= 0%. Odear.
